Disappointed in the phone etiquette of the evening clerk . . . at 19:15, no less. Night clerk rushed us through, made mistakes . . . for no need, given the 00:15 check-in.

Asst. Gen. Mgr. Bennett was very gracious, and his customer-service abilities are keen & genuine. The antique stairwell and the mezzanine are very inviting, comfortable touches.

The breakfast could use a little more variety, although it could be because there was probably less than 10 people staying there. The hotel was great. Now for booking.com not to happy with them.. Charged us one price then once to hotel it was another. Even after I said what accommodations we needed for the dogs.

The room was the perfect size for my husband and I plus two small dogs. As for the bed it was very comfortable and it was exceptionally clean. The staff was very nice. I want to give a personal thanks to Tony. Which helped us out tremendously, got our room ready about an hour early when in fact he did not have to do that.

Did not have anything to dislike. The pool was OK. The room was clean and spacious. One thing you may look at is the curtains were sorta see through. I really did not care but she noticed it.

Breakfast was good for a hotel. I just wanted Coffee and they had plenty. Rooms were large and well kept. Pool was good.

The pool is next to the roadway so it’s a little loud out there. Breakfast was limited was still had several options available. Bed was a little hard and uncomfortable but lots of pillows.

We booked here because Galveston was too expensive. Not a bad drive to Our activities in Galveston and Kemah. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was happy they actually came in daily to make up the room. Several hotels I’ve stayed at lately have postponed this service. Pool area was clean and pleasant.

Had a bad experience with billing. I stayed for 2 nights and they tried to scam me by charging me for an additional day. When I called their manager (Anna?) she said that it was the third party mistake. I explained her that all details led to the error having been occurred due to hotel’s accounting software, but she wouldn’t budge. She just kept blaming the third party (Booking.com) for mistakenly making a reservation for an additional day. They tried to hold on my funds for as long as possible, despite the overwhelming evidence. I have been using Booking app for 8 years and I worked as a hotel night auditor for 3 years, and I have a very clear picture of how a well groomed hotel accounting system should work. None of these seemed to help convincing her! Amenities are Ok, but not in line with a hotel of this rating. My advice: Stay out!!

The sink and bathtub would not drain. We told the staff and they tried to fix it but it apparently couldn’t be fixed because we came back that day to find it still not draining. Overall not very clean and smelled strange. Run down.

Our room A/C was broken and they didn't offer to give us a different room. We checked in at 10:30 pm after a 15 hour drive and the room was 84 degrees. The A/C unit was blowing hot air. We were told they were booked and didn't have another room available. Very unhappy but didn't want to sleep in Car after that long drive. ...Never again. P.s. all the nearby motels were also full. It was a cruise weekend .

I was on night shift and required an early check in which I asked for when booking. Never got a response from the hotel. Went in on checking day and was greeted by a rude receptionist and told me I couldn’t check in after working a 13 hr shift. Facility was not able to give me room even though the parking lot looked empty. Was told by employee I had an attitude. We’ll try working for that long and coming to the hotel I booked for a week and them not being able to accommodate my needs. Simply ridiculous. No hospitality or common sense. I doubt they didn’t have 1 room to give me , definitely will not be booking or staying there in the future.

Stayed on a first floor room. Extreme mildew smell.

Location, close to cruise ports while saving money on lodging. Stray cat outside. Seems well taken care of by hotel patrons and hotel staff alike.
