On the flipside of the central location, it was very noisy as you're right on sunset, but that is to be expected.

The room smelt like weed and cigarettes the entire stay (it was obviously in the walls) the location was a little bit sketchy. The fire alarm was covered in our room with toilet paper from previous guests to allow them to smoke in the room. The bathroom door did not shut all the way.

The location was amazing and the bed was so comfortable It was right next to in & out !! They were able to hold our bags for as long as we needed before check in

wasnt till you arrive and see a sign in reception to say that you cannot leave bags on site once you have checked out. As visitors from Australia without a car, having to wait a few hours till we flew out that night, it was not very inconvenient not to be able to store baggage at accommodation. We could have done more exploring around Hollywood but ended up going to airport early as didnt want to carry bags everywhere

The property looks great in the images/ website. However this was not shown we showed up. The hotel is run down and felt unsafe. We are heavy sleepers however the street noise and noise from other guests was extremely loud and would wake us up. The room had rubbish from previous guests and slight amount of mould in the bathroom.

The location was pretty good. The close proximity to Hollywood Blvd was great and the cheap parking was a benefit.

The location felt somewhat unsafe, the room smelt mouldy, bathroom was mouldy, people smoking both cigarettes & marijuana on the landing in front of the room meaning the smoke would get forced through the room if the A/C was on

There was black grime in the bathtub and a strange substance on the taps. Could have been unrinced detergent. I tried not to overthink it. The bed was like sleeping on a cement floor and there was no hot water. Luke warm at best.

Receptionist not very helpful, did not assist for a single, smaller room when I asked paid for a big family room. And the receipt was not forthcoming after payment, put me on edge. Not very warm.

Kinda grungy. Not sure if room carpets were ever cleaned properly and regularly. I much prefer bringing my own floor coverings towels and bedding Even softer lightbulbs as the original bulbs are way too bright.

Central location. Easy checkin and the shortest distance from my car to my room without going through lobbies and parking garages. I’ve tried many places and out of all of them this the better choice as far as value and not outdated rooms.

The pool area, completely poor and it's a shame because they have a very big pool and this area could be really great. The smell outside the rooms was really not good and the stairs are very used. The exteriors weren't good at all.

The hotel room was large and comfortable. It was near Ovation Hollywood and Walk of fame and there were some restaurants very near too. There was a coffee equipment and if you don't pay attention to the hotel exterior, inside the room it's good. My room was clean everyday and the women who cleaned the room were very friendly.

The price is too high for a room without a phone to the front desk in case of emergency ,The Wifi was IN and OUT the entire stay.. If there is no telephone service all phones should be taken out of rooms and not just unplugged...There is an Ice Machine but not for Hotel Guests. The Heating/Air Conditioner Unit is EXTREMELY LOUD.. SECURITY NEEDED AT THESE PRICES

Quite a lot of the hotel such as doors and walls and trim board were damaged. Our tv had spots in the screen and the wifi was in and out. We were a couple in a king room and only had two bath towels and two hand towels. I’m a women and use two towels when I shower. Our windows in our bathroom had no screen. The noise on Sunset is horrific. Not to mention someone in the parking lot of the hot had issues with his car horn which kept going off the first night we were there. My daughter and her family had room 302. The bathroom smells like mold. The windows are not double pain so no matter how loud the tv is the emergency vehicles with sirens go off all night. The website said breakfast was included but we found out it wasn’t they weren’t set up. I don’t know if they are currently going through a slow remodel but there is a lot of work needed.

The staff were pleasant, the parking was cheap and it was 13 min from Universal Studios and 11 min walk to Hollywood Blvd. The AC was cold. Food was close by.
