How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a lot of noise from the road early in the morning. The breakfast was skimpy.

The half sized pillows didn't make sense and were not very comfortable. The curtain wouldn't close all the way shut so there was a lot of bright light from the street lamp coming in. Little hard to stay asleep due to that.
They were able to put us on the bottom floor near end of hall next to exit door as we had a pet and didn't want her to disturb anyone nor anyone to disturb her! Staff was very friendly. Let us know due to a staffing shortage the breakfast is not up to their usual standards but assured me there was still plenty to choose from. I liked the freshness of the fruit and quick variety of choices The lobby and hallways smelled good. Room was a decent size. I was able to fit all my cold items from the cooler in the mini fridge.

I stay at a Country Inn mainly for the great breakfast they have. The breakfast here was a disappointment. No hot food, just yogurt and microwaveable breakfast sandwiches.

The TV in the room is a little small. The breakfast is “limited due to no staff”. The people in the room across had 4 kids who were up at 7 am and screaming for half an hour which woke us up.
Price and location are great. Staff was friendly. I liked that the rooms have a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Fridge and microwave in room. Everything was as expected.

Room is small somewhat outdated but clean!
Convenient, easy off I75 and easy back on. The staff is very friendly making you feel welcome along with being helpful. Plenty of grassy areas to walk our dog.

The bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint but it wasn't bad & the tub could use new caulking. I come from a property management background so I notice the details.
The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean & offered a updated thermostat which was nice to control the temperature in the room. The bed was really comfortable & we loved the balcony option.

Used soap in the soap dish Hideous view of delaptated swimming pool, which looked like it had been in ruins for many years I took "do not disturb" sign off door our second morning expecting maid service, but unfortunately, did not get room serviced.

It always seems like our room is the farthest away from the entrance, but that is not the fault of the hotel. The bed was not as soft as I like it.
Check in was fast. The location was easy to get to, near the airport, but not close enough to bother us while sleeping. The pillows were great.
