Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe were rushed out by staff trying to clean the room at 10 am when checkout is 11 am. My boyfriend was afraid we left clothes there due ti being arrassed by maid service ti leave. No breakfast in the morning they had the set up looked like and I thought there would be breakfast, nothing.
The room could have been worse.

United Statesno breakfast or any lobby services (not even coffee), only 1 garbage can in room, no signs for the door (do not disturb/please clean room), TV signal was consistently garbled and pixelated on most channels, room was never serviced despite my leaving at 6am and returning at 5pm. had to convince front desk that room wasn't serviced in order to get a couple of towels - he actually said "you can have more tomorrow morning when housekeeping comes". will never stay again due to his rudeness and the mediocrity of the room and amenities

United StatesThe room we first were given had a bad odor so they moved us to another one. Previous occupants must have been smoking stuff in a non smoking room. This place was supposedly remodeled but honestly I stayed here two years ago and it was nicer before so I don't understand that. I believe it must have changed ownership. The door wouldnt lock securely and looked scratched up and dirty, they need to repaint. The sofa was tired and stained. The air conditioner kept turning off so I had to get up multiple times to keep unjusting it. Worst part was some questionable people across the way. I just really didnt feel comfortable.
The price is cheap and the bathroom was large and had nice tiles.
