How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The footwork was okay for the price! The first room that I had the front door was broken! I was switched to another room , which was okay! However there was a leak in the shower! Other than that my stay was decent.

It needs updating. The USB plugs didn't work, and there were patches on the walls that their contractor did a shoddy job in repairing. They were doing construction at the front, maybe that iscwhy my room rate was reasonable because the jack hammer started promptly at 9 am on SUNDAY MORNING. The breakfast was horrible, fake eggs, barely palatable bacon, few other options for food, no more waffle mix to make at 8 am..when breakfast was over at 9. The coffee was unbearable, the juice was in pitchers that you poured, and the breakfast and dining areas were dirty! We couldn't eat there at ALL. The whole breakfast area was hot and unkempt this was the area where the staff made me feel as if I bothered them. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. I MAY stay there again...but definitely do not consider breakfast an option.

On the morning of checkout they were doing work on the property. I didn't think it was appropriate to have the guests disturbed on a Sunday morning.

Booking dot com said my room suppose to had 2 king bed and a sofa bed bit the room only had to beds and a chair. The hotel said we don't have that type of set up. Fauls advertising
Management gave me a extra room for free to help us out.

Overpowering marijuana stench throughout the entire property. In the hallways, elevators, rooms, etc. It gagged you at all times. Rooms needed updating.
Staff was great!! Breakfast good. Location good.

Room had a broken microwave & refrigerator. The non stop smell of Marijuana in the halls was overwhelming for me & my children
The location was perfect as I was staying close to family in Capital Region Medical Center. I liked the coffee and tea availability in the lobby.

I had to move room 4 times and my key wasn't working for 2 of those. I took my luggage up left to get food and came back and couldn't get in my roo.

Simple things would make a big difference. There was one tiny bar of soap in our room for 4 people, and no shampoo or conditioner. The bathtub is leaking terribly. The breakfast was a 2 out of 10. They didn't even have milk for the cereal. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't spend any more time there.
The bed and bathtub were clean. It was a short walk to the metro.

The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was very weird. The shower curtain did not stay in place which caused the whole bathroom to get wet. Breakfast did not taste good.

The blinds wouldn’t close all the way, i ask for help. Never got it. I had to stuff pillows in the windows. I had beer caps in the corner of the room

The bath tub wouldn’t drain properly when taking shower but wasn’t worth making a fuss about.
The facility itself was descent. It’s sort of outdated but I heard discussion of updates to come. The pool was under renovation and the breakfast was horrible. They lady at the front desk was so pleasant. The gentleman with the dreds was a little rough around the edges but was fairly pleasant.

The rooms were very old and worn. The internet pictures did not give a true representation of this property. It was as if the internet pictures were of a completely different hotel.
The staff was good. The free parking and breakfast were good also.

Follow what you offer on the booking site The cleaning was scary, they don’t use proper cleaning practices. I was there for six days and I had to take the towels. The bathroom is horrible

The rooms smelled like marijuana when we walked in. The bathrooms were not clean; hair in tub and on bathroom floor. The property is very run down.

staff walked in our room while we were sleeping to “confirm” we wanted late check out. Double check that your door is actually closed. I was able to walk right in the room I rented for my teenagers

The first room they gave us smelt like our hot sex and the sheets had stains on them. After getting the second room it was much better smelt clean and was very spacious.
