I think many of the negative reviews would have been avoided if it was a little more transparent about things like the pool being closed over winter (not normal for many travellers but quite normal in the US). It was sanitary but really could use a deep clean.

Easy check in, usual help your self breakfast, and a microwave available outside the breakfast area. It was easy to find, very inexpensive, and had everything I needed for 1 nights stay. It is an older place and some things are quite worn but you absolutely got what you payed for.

It was a bit difficult getting your breakfast to your room to eat it. You had to carry it from a small kitchen where they had it available. Get it early and maybe carry it bit by bit to your room.

It's a good value hotel with free parking, WiFi and breakfast. The location was convenient for me.

The room was large and pleasant, located far enough from the road (courtyard view), it was less old-fashioned than what we had seen on the photos, which was a pleasant surprise! The location is very good, less than 20 minutes from Manhattan Beach, in a lively neighborhood that's not too touristy. The price was very reasonable for the area: I do recommend it.

All facilities functioning welĺ except the fan/light combo in bathroom, neither worked. Cute breakfast bar in hallway overlooking street. Good quality breakfast also. Converted swimming pool into a patio was a nice touch.

Came back to room one evening to find that housekeeping had left the door to our room propped open and had left for the day hours earlier. Thankfully no one took advantage of that and nothing was stolen.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was great. Everything seemed clean. Breakfast was available but we did not try it on this stay. Staff was friendly.

During the night our restroom door was blocked, why we needed support from the personnel until it was finally possible to go to the toilet again. There was a breakfast. However, the waffle maker was burnt, the room was not clean, coffee and juice were empty, milk stood on top of the fridge and the food was generally not tasty.

The hotel is located approximately one mile from Manhattan Beach Pier, a beautiful and clean part of LA. There is a parking garage in the building with an elevator inside. The room was like a clean standard, modern American hotel room. Wifi was good.

There was no bath towels in our room when we checked in.

Room was clean and a good size. Good sized fridge, good coffee machine. The maids were really helpful with getting extra towels etc… Parking underneath the hotel was very handy. About a 30 minute walk from the beach.

When I got there, the clerk give attitude I have a booking for 6 two adults and four children but instantly was like oh, you booked a room with two beds and six adults. We cannot have that allowed, and I proceeded to show when I booked it it clearly states two adults and four children!!!! after that everything was OK except for the room the top lock was broken a little like somebody tried to break in and they just left the screws a little loose never got repaired
