There weren't restaurants nearby. You have to take your car to eat somewhere else.

We love the location that's on the river edge. It's why we chose to stay there. It's a basic hotel, with basic room and breakfast. Clean, comfortable, warm - good value for money. We loved the (cold) walks around the hotel at night and early morning. Beautiful location. We couldn't stop taking photos. There was a big parking space in front that was really convenient.

Breakfast was acceptable. Certain items were not replenished in a timely manner, and when they were, the quantities were very limited.

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. I liked the location as there were a few eating establishments very close by.

Exceptionally clean and warm. Breakfast good but never changed from scrambled eggs or paatty. Good choice of cereal and toast or waffles. Cleaned room when requested.

The elevator needed cleaned. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. Was there for 2 nights and same spills and dirt on the Wall the entire time. Some of the staff acted annoyed when you needed something at the front desk. Had to go and ask for pool towels since there were none in the pool area.

The rooms were clean, the pool was nice and breakfast was decent. Great value for the price.

May be for somebody it would be an "old style", but it's very well furnished, really comfortable rooms with a lot of space. Location nearby lake - you can having a breakfast and watch throw the huge window how fishermen on boats sail across the bay to the lake.

There seemed to be food crumbs in my bed and I didn't eat anything in the room.

I liked the location. We were able to walk to the old light house and drive to Sandusky and Anherst in very little time. I found being on the river relaxing and very interesting watching all the birds. One of the best things is it was a Coke hotel, so I could actually get something to drink.

Wasn’t very easy to find- not your fault. Google maps wasn’t very clear so it took a little driving around to find it. Breakfast wasn’t very good.

Breakfast: the scrambled eggs were very salty with no taste of actual egg. Only white bread and bagels and pre-sweetened cereals for starch. There were some fresh fruits and hard-boiled eggs that were more healthy choices. The coffee was definitely not to my taste.

Clean, quiet and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and there were both firm and soft pillows. Good value at this time of year (October).

The electric sockets and fan was out in the bathroom. The carpet appeared to need a cleaning.
