Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesNeed a smaller air gap at the base of the door (was at least 3/4 inch,) which left in a good amount of light and noise from people traveling to the breakfast bar. It could be worth once the pool opens because we were near the pool with a door out to the pool (nice touch there.). Lighting setup seemed odd and we noticed a distinct lack of USB outlets. Enough outlets, just needed the actual plug which we had brought for our electronics.
Decent breakfast with decent hours. Decent bedding and towels.

United StatesWalls are thin so any noise from people in neighboring rooms or in the hallway could be easily heard. The placement of the outlets for the use of the ironing board was a little inconvenient.
The hotel was clean, the elevator smelled nice and fresh, breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The Comfort Inn at Rockvale had everything that we were looking for. The staff was personable, the room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Our room was not very fancy, but the air conditioning worked wonderfully and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. This is the first motel out of many that was pure sleeping heaven. We have stayed in lots of hotels in Lancaster and this one was our favorite. We will be back again.

United StatesThe pillow top beds were comfortable at first, but for me caused pain through the night with my hip and joint issues. I’m thinking it was too soft. For someone else it may be fine.
Whenever we go to Lancaster we try to book at this hotel because of its location. It’s close to the outlets and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the accessible room we stayed in had was a good size with a large bathroom.

United StatesI thought the room smelled when first entering it. I guess it was a subtle enough smell because I didn't notice it after a few minutes of being in the room. I would have liked the room to have been darker, but the blinds were fine.
The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. The breakfast was great. There was a good variety of foods and it was very tasty. Also, the staff were very nice. Overall, it was a comfortable one night stay. The price was fine.
