Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bathroom door frame was rusting and there was mold stain around the bathtub. nothing too horrible but could just use some updating. However, the bed sheet had some sort of stain on it that skeeved us out. it is usually a really good experience but found this time not up to par. still, the location is great and the staff was helpful and courteous.
we have stayed here many times and usually have an excellence experience. our room this time needed a little bit of improvement.

United StatesIt was a bit farther from downtown riverwalk for me. There was a lot of road construction going on and it took me a half hour to get to riverwalk. I would try for a hotel closer next time. Plus you have to pay for parking downtown so keep that in mind d.

United StatesI called down the night before checkout to ask for a late check out and was told she could not do that. However, my friend went to the car for something came in and asked who did I speak to, and I said a young lady that sounded Hispanic and they said the lady that checked us in was down there now. So they called downstairs she answered and said of course you could could have late check until 12 noon. I knew all hotels had late check out and the one that said no she could not do that hadn't even checked with anyone to be certain. That would be my only complaint. Other than that the stay was fantastic.
I really like the staff when we checked in.
