the way the deposit is collected is a little odd, you have to cash app them or give them cash at the door. initially the manager texted my phone saying they needed to collect the deposit, i thought it was a scam initially so i asked them to message me through the booking app. when i received the same message on there, i opted to give them cash cause it still seemed odd to me. I’ve stayed at APT’s and other peoples places before and ive had the deposit come off of my card. i arranged the time that I’d be arriving so someone could meet me at the door to collect my deposit and picture of my ID. i showed up with in 20 minutes of that time and no one was there. it wasn’t until about 7 or 8 that i was contacted again. this was frustrating for me cause i was at a concert i spent a decent amount of money to attend. i asked if it could wait until after, and i was told to avoid any “interruptions to my stay” it would be best to send it as soon as possible. i say all this just because it would have taken them nothing to wait 3 hours for me to cash app them the money. instead, they messaged me and called me multiple times while i was at the concert (the entire point of my trip.) if they wanted the deposit, they should have waited 20 minutes to get it from me at the door. other than this, the stay was great.

Had to fence part of the yard ourselves to keep the dogs in. The owners removed the bathtub the day before we arrived and installed a tile shower with a seat but the grout wasn’t dry by the time we arrived, it was a very rushed “upgrade” that kept us from being able to shower for the first week we were in the house and we had to buy silicon caulk to seal the grout so we could use the shower. We also had to buy a squeegee to get water down the drain because the drain was above the tile and it wasn’t graded. Additionally we had to buy an inflatable bath tub to bathe our child since the tub was ripped out without notification prior to arrival. Bugs throughout the house spiders and large cockroaches. (Owner did send out bug people, but due to many places in the house having openings to outside they had to keep coming back) One of the vents goes directly to the outside and doesn’t have any ducting in it. Water fills up directly beneath that vent under the house and after rain creates standing water and lots of bugs. When brought up to owner she attempted to say there have never been bugs and that we should keep doors closed and clean up our dog poop outside, basically blaming us, but they clearly knew they had issues because there were rat traps behind the fridge. The kitchen sink water (black water) and laundry water (gray water) spills directly into the yard which is not safe for environment or pets in the yard. Laundry is located outside in a dirty car port with barely any space to get your stuff in and out. All of the closets smell and look moldy. My toddler found marijuana on the floor (end of a blunt) and we found a 9mm bullet and a vape under the dresser. There was also a dog poop under a bench inside the house prior to our arrival. All of the door knobs are falling off or overly tight and not functional. The list goes on and on. The owner is terrible to deal with and said they’d refund our pet deposit and just never did.

There was a roof over our head. The yard was large and so was the house but the yard was not fully fenced as we were told, and there were many fire ant hills throughout the yard. The house was large but not quality.

Very quiet neighborhood & conveniently located for all the places we needed to go . House was set with all things needed for a clean & comfortable stay . We would defiantly book here again if in the area .

Owner…integrity is everything and this owner doesn’t have that. The mattresses on the bed are not good at all and the bathroom is updated with the exception of the tub. It looks pretty bad.

Location is great for people attending Edwards Waters for an event.

This home us in a great location. We enjoyed sitting outside and the space was great.
