The room was very tiny. I tried to do some work at the desk and there was barely space to pull the chair out. Also wished there was a closet or iron as I was traveling for work. Had to use steam from shower and my flat iron. One side note, the location is indeed downtown so there was a lot or noise all night long.

Location was in downtown, which made it easy to walk to places. Small market just up the street and Starbucks attached. Also lots of restaurants nearby.

Large, unfurnished room, sparse and basic. Meant for ONE person, really. No place to open out a second suitcase, even. Bathroom was for a handicapped person... Certainly not what we paid in advance for !

    Friendly front desk !

Getting extra pillows, which were necessary because the pillows were way too soft for my taste, seemed to be a chore. Asked for three and had to go down to reception to get it after I never heard back, and there was one sitting on the front desk for me. While the location was great, be aware that it can get noisy on that stretch due to people driving through with loud engines or blasting music during relatively late hours. If you're looking for quiet, maybe consider a different part of town.

The location was excellent--easy walk to deep ellum and major downtown sites. Great that they served breakfast. The Texas-shaped waffles were a nice touch that didn't go unappreciated. The pool was a decent size and large area, deep enough for laps if you're careful. The room was very spacious, and was conducive to both relaxing and working. Ice machines were on every other floor so it was an easy trip either up or down to get ice.

A kettle would have been welcome. The breakfast was adequate but would have liked decaf coffee and gluten-free bread and/or pastries.

Comfortable beds, great size corner room and en-suite. Kitchen area with microwave was a bonus. Lighting was good.

USE THE VALET IF YOU CAN!!!! I parked in the back and someone broke into my car and tried to hotwire it so they can steal it. Luckily they didn’t succeed, but I had to get my car towed home. The police will just tell you to write a statement, but they will not come, so that was super great.

The inside of the hotel is really nice. Just as a heads up, if you don’t pay attention like me, you need your card to use the elevator. I was scared I was stuck at first.

Parking was a hassle. There was no visible signs about where to park, so I had to drive around while looking for the hotel phone number so I could inquire about where to park. Unfortunately, when I got back around the block to the front of the building, there were so many cars waiting for valet that I had to keep circling the block to avoid blocking traffic. Once I was finally able to get parked and retrieve my car upon checkout, I was charged twice the amount I was told I would pay ($29 quoted but I paid $59). I probably wouldn’t stay here again because the parking was so aggravating and outrageous considering I was there for less than 15 hours.

The hotel was very clean, well appointed, and close to lots of dining and entertainment options in downtown.

Coffee not available 24 hours/ day. Hotel says because they were throwing lots out. If this was available in 2nd floor, that could be why. A solution to this is to have a Keurig coffee maker at front desk where it can be monitored. The room coffee maker is a joke and powdered cream is not appreciated. Blind was crinkled and could not be pulled down. Electrical outlets not working.

Location was good. Cleanliness and hospitable staff were appteciated.

Check-in staffs - not attentive, distracted and not providing basic info and forget to give me my HH Gold Member welcome bag. Valet parking - slow to retrieve car.
