There was vacuuming above our room(202) on 5/9 at 8:30am, which we thought was a little early. We could also hear floorboards squeaking and movement with the room above us and the piping for the waterlines was also loud but these things were not a big deal since the building itself is older and that’s to be expected! Our right window near the bed in room 202 opened but wouldn’t stay up so we couldn’t use it. I wish there had been more comfortable seating for breakfast. Maybe a small dinette table for 2. The only options are large armchairs in front of small coffee tables. If arriving at a later hour for breakfast, there may be no more space to sit so arrive earlier than 9am or be prepared to take breakfast back up to your room or on the go :)

The room was very clean and tidy. There is house keeping everyday which was done well. Our room was quiet, especially in the evening. We couldn’t hear people or cars going by. Our left window opened up easily for some fresh air. There’s breakfast everyday until 10am which included: coffee, tea, orange juice, greek yogurt, single serving fruit bowls, Quaker oatmeal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, and fruit (apples and tangerines). Overall we would stay again and refer family and friends!

Adorable place that's really close to the main attractions on the island. Parking was easy nearby. I also liked that there's a liquor store at the corner so I could easily buy water. I loved that the hotel had fresh chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. The room was clean and spacious.

Bathroom door is a sliding barn-style door that doesn’t close properly, which impedes privacy when you’re sitting on the toilet (Room 102). No power outlets on bedside tables and few in room generally - this needs an update. Welcome binder is very outdated, speaks of COVID precautions in place, no breakfast will be offered, etc

We can't think of anything we didn't like. As I said earlier, we had a great experience!

The location was PERFECT for staying on the island. We were close to the shops, restaurants and only a few blocks from the beach! We could use bikes for a bit of riding as well. The staff was super friendly and having a bottle of champagne brought up to our room when we checked in was a nice touch. Loved the spa jets in our bathroom tub to relax after a day of exploring. The 1920's elevator was a wonderful surprise.

I wish the rooms had a microwave. If not, perhaps one in the little breakfast room for use day or night.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s got a wonderful vibe about it; old world charm, at its finest! The room is clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bedding is luxurious! Staff are attentive and will go the extra mile to please and make you comfortable. Breakfast is offered; help yourself style. Simple, but tasty. No need to bring bikes, beach chairs or umbrellas as they provide this service free of charge.

Excellent location. Just off the Main Street. You can walk to restaurants, stores, ice cream and coffee as well as, two and half blocks to the beach and the Hotel Del Coronado. Although so close to all things, it is very quiet and restful. The hotel had a lovely selection for continental breakfast. Hotel Marisol was very clean, very comfortable and the staff could not be more kind and helpful. I look forward to staying there again.

Very close to the beach and the hotel provides beach equipment - chairs, umbrella for guest to use free of charge. Located close to excellent restaurants and shopping. The included breakfast is very good!
