Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Statesvery run down facility; no breakfast except for two little things of juice; no coffee! Who doesn't at least have coffee?? The marijuana smell reeked throughout the hallway. I could have gotten high just on the second hand smoke. There were holes in the wall of my room, cigarette burns and stained furniture, missing switches for the lamps, wall outlets that did not work, wall switches that did not turn on the lights. Paid for a king room- got confirmation for a king room but facility states they do not have king rooms and it isn't their problem that Booking.com gave me something that they did not have. He was not rude just factual. Again my review is not against staff. The photo of the pool is the ONLY area that has been kept up compared to the whole facility.
The housekeeper was very helpful; location was good for my job. Even though the facility is extremely old and run down it was not "dirty". Housekeeping did the best with what they had to work with I believe. All staff were helpful and accommodating. My review is for the owners of this facility who obviously have not visited this location in recent years!

United StatesWe went in and could not find anyone to help us. Finally located a house phone in the lobby. Picked it up and the desk phone rang immediately. Gentleman answered the phone and informed us they were "full up". Found that interesting as there were only ten cars on the entire property. (I counted them.) An hour later I went to Booking and was able to book a room here! After our evening events we returned to still find NO-ONE at the desk. Picked up the house phone again and were told he would "be right down". We were soon greeted by a young gentleman who didn't exactly have a 'customer friendly' appearance. We were again told they were "full up" except this ONE room he had "been holding back". Got checked in and drove around to the back entrance close to our room. The door was NOT locked and required NO key to gain access (contrary to signs). Headed up the stairs to be greeted by another rough gentleman wearing pajama pants informing us he "just got that room clean for US". Finally got in the room...... Excessive odor of FEBREEZE. i'm guessing that was to cover where the carpet was soaked with what we could smell in the morning to be beer. Generally speaking, the room APPEARED clean. Next time we will certainly search out a different option. Side note.... Out of the 18 vehicles there early the next morning, only 5 had out office state tags.
We did not use the pool but it did look great.

United StatesWaited for a long time at front desk for check-in. Front desk person was rude. One room key didn't work. Room was horribly dirty. Beds smelled like pee and one of the blankets had gross stains on it and looked like it hadn't been washed in months, possibly years. Door did not close all the way unless you pulled extremely hard on it. It was just my sister and I and we did not feel safe here.
The lobby was nice and clean.

USAThere was a dirty wash rag in the bathroom hanging from the shower rod. The check in front staff was dressed like someone off the streets. He was nice. Free breakfast was advertised, there was not a crumb to be found. NOTHING! Hair in the bathtub. Advertised as king bed with couch that folds out. Got the king bed but only a chair, that did not fold out. We were with a group. One room pulled the comforter down to find crumbs in the bed.
A room was available and the rate was okay.

United StatesThe lack of advertised included services. The fact that the upholstered chair in the room was all torn up with the foam showing through, and the girl that checked me in was young and 'eye-rolling' at my requests and didn't like me asking questions. For instance, when I asked if I get to the room from inside or outside, she responded with a slight eye-roll, "Well, I'm about to tell you." (In other words...shut-up and listen to me ! ) The older man clerk in the morning when I left made up for her faults.....he was professional, helpful, and nice.
I chose this place because it had an advertised breakfast and a pool. Neither was available. The pool was down for maintenance and there was NOTHING offered for breakfast. The excuse was 'covid'....well there certainly could have been individually wrapped Hostess donuts, sealed individual yogurts, individual packs of cereal, pints of milk, ETC.....it was a poor excuse to save money at the customer's disappointment. NO ADJUSTMENT IN PRICE WAS OFFERED FOR 2 SERVICES ADVERTISED WITH BOOKING.COM THAT I BOOKED. !!!!

United StatesThis very dated need new comforters for sure. Comforters had burnt holes in it. New towels and washcloths as ours was very dirty looking. Crack in the tile in the bathroom. The pool was not was not working. The first room we was in sheets had blood on them and a another spot where it looked like someone hsd sex on the bed and left stains on the bed.

United StatesThey lied to my family and said the pool was working. It was not. I had promised my 3 grandchildren to play in the pool. Very upset. I had even called in advance to make sure the pool was open before booking this hotel.
The pool was not working. We did not stay at this hotel and canceled the rooms. I had called the hotel before making reservations to make sure that the pool was working and the staff said yes it was. It was a foreign speaking person who advised the pool was open. We arrived at the hotel with my 3 grandchildren to find out the pool was not open. I had two rooms booked at this hotel. We canceled those rooms and left. I was only given a refund of $2.18 and $1.78 for both of the rooms that I had booked.
