No staff were at the desk when we arrived shortly after 3 PM. A maintenance person had to go roust someone from what appeared to be a breakroom. Weary travelers coming in off the road prefer not to have to stand about in the lobby waiting for someone to appear. Also, the toilet in the newly renovated bathroom was extremely low to the floor, making it very uncomfortable to use with compromised knee joints. Installing "comfort height" toilets during the renovation would have made more sense, since many folks have achy knees.

The common areas were extremely clean. Breakfast was handled well despite the modifications that had to be made to accommodate those who are living in fear of COVID. The room was comfortable and clean.

I didn’t like the fact that breakfast end so early. I’m strong believer that it should be till 11:00am. or at least 10:00am. It was 5 of us and non couldn’t get it. We are so used to woke up early every day, to go to work or to go to school, that when we are on a 2 days one night vacation that the last thing we want to do.

I love the fact that it is only 15 minutes from my daughter's college, which was the reason we went to Cortland. for her 20th birthday and we went to celebrate with her. Also this hotel have the most comfortable beds and pillows my family and I freaking love it. I really recommend it.

The continental breakfast was included but not worth the calories. Coffee was not the worst, which is saying something considering some of the horrible coffee we have experienced in other hotels.

The room and bathroom were very nice, clean and comfortable. the staff were accommodating and friendly.

The lighting needs to be updated, especially in the living room area. It's dismal. There is no light at all at the coffee center. The shower is very nice, but it would be smart to have more safety bars on the walls. The bar at the entrance is not helpful while standing in the shower itself, and the one on the glass door shouldn't be used as a support bar. People who are not handicapped also appreciate safety bars in shower stalls, so it's a suggestion on making the nice shower even more accommodating.. Why isn't there a mirror in the bedroom? It needs a long, vertical mirror similar to the one in the living room. The Queen is supposed to sleep 6, but that's if they are all actual couples. Single people need to have Single beds (brother and sister don't want to share a bed). I suggest at least having 2 smaller sofa beds in the living room rather than that large sofa. There is enough room if the large sofa is removed. That would help. And I hope these suggestions are helpful. (We miss the lobby staircase).

In the Queen suite, the bedroom is lovely and beds are comfortable. The window shade is lovely with the leaf pattern and it does it's job quite well. The bathroom is fine now that it has been modernized and we liked the spacious shower. The coffee center is fine and we appreciate the little refrigerator and microwave - both very helpful. We also appreciate the new and very large TV in each room.

It is very conveniently located to SUNY cortland which is why I was there to move my daughter onto campus!! Literally one entrance is diagonal to the college! Perfect for us and very clean and accommodating!!

Bed was really comfortable. Kids loved it. Room was very clean. Facility looks brand-new. GM is very nice to respond to my request. There is a great fish fry restaurant only 1 minutes drive from the hotel.

The grab and go breakfast was just OK but I know that that is because of the pandemic so taking that into account there was a variety of items to choose from so it’s not really a complaint. it’s just something we all have to deal with at this particular time.

Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Sky (front desk) was exceptional. Her customer service was spot on. Customer Service is so important and sometimes you can have all the great qualities like this location has but if the staff isn’t on par, it could definitely ruin your stay. Fortunately the entire staff was wonderful but Sky was truly their shining star.

I didn't like the single serve coffee pot. I like a fresh pot of coffee. Enough for both of us but always coffee in lobby so made up for it. Microwave did not work but it was quickly replaced. I also didn't like having to go get new towels. Pandemic is almost over.. go back to cleaning service.. Other than those few things the stay was fantastic! Most cordial and friendliest staff I've ever had at a hotel. Overnight ladies were exceptional! Very clean, comfortable beds, room a little small but good. Again can't say enough about how fantastic the staff were. Give them a bonus!!

A safe in the room would be a recommendation. We had valuables that we werent sure about being left unsecured.

Dawn from the front desk staff went out if her way to accommodate my family. She was always warm and welcoming and did more than anyone would normally do to make sure we were well taken care of. She alone is a reason to stay again. Much love and appreciation all the way from Brooklyn NY.
