No elevator, but we got a first-floor room, which was appreciated.

The woman who checked us in was really accommodating and helpful. Clean room, good quality linens, nice towels, Very comfortable bed. The spa and pool area was really nice. There was a large family gathering for a funeral, and the hotel was crowded, but still very quiet in our room. Good breakfast. Safe location, close to interstate and shopping.

We were unable to shut the fan in the bathroom. The hot tub was not hot.

The beds were not comfortable at all, and feather pillows are awful. I'm not sure why they still exist. The towels, and they are not the only hotel that has this issue, are like sandpaper and small. I'm a little person, and the bath towels did not make it around my body. The value type hotels could all work on this.

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Told us good places to eat in town.

There really isn’t much of a town or good food nearby. Also had horrible Wi-Fi issues and my phones reception on data wasn’t any better

The washer/dryer room was the gate to hell! No ventilation and I don't think the lint trap had been cleaned in a long while. That said, it was great they have it, I just need a sauna! LOL! The serious issue was the breakfast. It was worst we have had in a good hotel in our travels. Eggs and sausage were burnt to the pan. Just bad. Bad for the Choice hotel brand. It is criminal that the insurance co. won't pay for the hail damage.

The location and value were good. The staff was great. Cookies were a nice touch. It was good that they had a washer and dryer.

I think everything was good and I don't have anything about the hotel that I didn't like. The surrounding area had a manure smells (I am guessing they were fertilizing fields nearby) but you would not smell it in the hotel which was great.

It was a short drive to Grinnell College where we were visiting. The rooms were clean, check in and check out was easy. The breakfast was simple.

Could be sproced up in the room. Area. A extra lamp for the night stand sufficient space to to hand towels, gowns, pj's.

The staff and very pleasant and cordial. Any item needed they would provide. They go overboard in making your stay comfortable and you happy. While the rooms may be older they are exceptionally clean. The lines are soft and cuddly, the mattress provides an excellent night’s rest and you may want to take it home an is so comfortable. Each morning the shower was steamy hot with excellent pressure. We were there for five days for our grandson's.graduation it was the perfect spot. Nice outdoor chairs and a well appointed indoor lounging room. I would most stay here again

Room was not clean. Clearly dirty floor in the bathroom. Rooms facing the parking lot on the first floor do not feel very private.

Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt and a decent variety of cereals, pastries. Yummy cookies available near the front desk. Choose a room, facing the back where there is a nice field.

The hallways were dirty--needed a vacuum at least. Breakfast did not start until 7:00, so we missed it. Price was much higher than the night before in Newton, which was an excellent place (no room here).

In general, this was a typical motel--the room was good. It was clean, while the hallway and reception area was not. Beds were fine.

We arrived later than expected but the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Changed our room from 2nd floor to 1St floor as we are senior citizens and no elevator was provided.
