The Comcast cable was out for maybe three of the days I was there, a big disappointment. I felt the hotel might have offered at least a minimal refund per day due to this. I was on vacation, wanting to relax and watch a movie when I wished. Sadly, it wasn't possible for half of my stay there. Though again, the outage was due to Comcast, not the Country Inn.

The hotel is quiet. The room is comfortable, and the kitchen is large. There is a huge grocery store and other shops in walking distance.

This is the best hotel on the peninsula. The manager is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the hotel itself is super comfy, clean and the pool is great. Highly recommend!

The property is well maintained. While it is small, the owners take excellent t care of the grounds, which are lovely and inviting. Pool and lounge area was absolutely lovely. The room and bathroom is spacious and provided with every amenity you would need. Staff is wonderful. Location is excellent, right off El Camino Real, a major thoroughfare with easy access to major highways. Additionally the hotel is located right next to major shopping centers like Safeway Walmart Target and many many restaurants.

I don’t know if I can say anything that I disliked, as this stay has gone above and beyond my expectation with everything available in the room. Thank you for giving such an awesome stay at your place. I hope many people stay here and enjoy what you have to offer.

Had an amazing stay! Spent one night there and my family and I were treated very well. We had nice chocolates near our beds and the rooms are very nice. It was good for the price and definitely recommend a stay here. They even brought us breakfast to our room.

Breakfast was adequate but basic (whole fruit, yogurt, bottled juice, coffee/tea, packaged danish, microwaved breakfast sandwich) but at this price point, I wasn't expecting much.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Pool area was nice, with cushioned furniture and bbq available for guest use. Great value for the money.

Nothing - this really exceeded my expectations for a motel and especially given the very reasonable rate.

I stayed here with my son for 4 nights while moving him out of college and preparing to drive cross country. The room we stayed in has a separate kitchen/dining room which was handy because we were sorting through a lot of stuff, and essential for the one day on the trip when I had to do remote work beginning very early in the morning. The office and cleaning staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, the facility is well kept, really nice plantings, outdoor dining tables and a cute pool.

The egg-sausage-croissant breakfast sandwich. (fast-food quality) Would have preferred a real plain croissant or muffin and a real hard-boiled egg.

Loved the beautiful garden with flowers & trees. The crystal blue pool with comfortable rattan couch & chairs was perfect to enjoy a glass of French wine with our delicious Thai takeout dinner. The scale of this complex is small & intimate ~ only 2 floors and set back from the main street ~ so quiet & breezy. Very close to Palo Alto University Ave and Mountainview's Castro Street for great shopping & restaurants. Had a wonderful weekend ~ and are coming back for another getaway! Thank you *~

The room did not have windows. No flexibility on the room duty, if morning fine otherwise the afternoons no staff to clean rooms. There was no obvious food or restaurant outlet within walking distance.

Beautiful trees in front, easy in and out, clean. Lots of pillows.

This is the kind of place that chisels you for basic amenities like soap. Really, one tiny disc of soap for the sink AND shower? If the profit margin is really that thin, they should do something differently. Also, the check-out clerk was nasty in denying my request for late check-out and yelled at me for asking. Not a good look, Country Inn Motel! My advice, stay at a nicer place. The price may be slightly higher, but you will get much better value.

The location is good and the place is decent. The check-in clerk was nice. However, the check-out clerk treated me like garbage. Would not stay here again.

No room service provided over the 3-night weekend stay. Grab & Go breakfast offering was limited and meagre compared to the poolside breakfast we enjoyed in a previous stay. Useless coffee machine.

The swimming pool is very good. Free parking close to the rooms. Quiet air conditioning, if rather weak.

The breakfast was not good at all (it was about as basic as it is possible to be - completely plain instant oatmeal with some hot water, a microwaved egg on a bun in its package wet with condensation, unripe fruit, tasteless coffee, small can of dole pineapple juice was the best part). I get that it may be difficult to do something more elaborate at a motel during COVID, but this wasn't very good. This would be something to improve a bit, given the cost of the stay, which is reasonably high in my humble opinion. Also it is a good thing that my neighbours were not night owls who like to watch TV, because you certainly could hear through the walls!

The trees are beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. Pool area looked great, although it was too cold to swim so I didn't use it.

People who smoke should not have to go to their car in order to have a cigarette. Most hotels will have an area outside where travelers could smoke.

The "breakfast" as it was, did not to seem to be a bright spot. The quality of the food was very poor. The coffee was not to my wife's satisfaction. Using Smart & Final as a source for meal items should be avoided.

The covers on the bed were encased in such a way that it was "all or nothing," so it was impossible to find the sweet spot. The shower was cramped.

The kitchen was nice and well appointed. The bedroom was roomy. Checkin and checkout were smooth and quick.

Beds are hard as a rock and the general manager was constantly harassing us over our daughters service dog who is a frenchie and very well trained for seizures. He even harassed me while my daughter was in the hospital having her brain scans and said if she was a true service dog she’d be with her… right… as if they let them go in the room while she was having an MRI.. he’s been extremely rude to the point we contacted our attorney!

The TV did not work! Or maybe it was the cable! It would come on and work for about ten minutes, just enough to tease!

The breakfast was okay... the menu wasn't accurate. It was nice to have it delivered and the if anything was missing the staff was great in responding.
