Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI DIDNT LIKE THAT MY FOOD (SOUP) I HAD IN THE FRIDGE WAS TAKEN OUT AND SET ON TOP MY SUITCASE BECAUSE I WAS SUPPOSED TO CHANGE ROOM AND IT DIDNT HAPPEN.
I LEFT MY WORK LAPTOP IN THE ROOM I STAY IN FOR 3 DAYS. THE STAFF SAVE IT AND I WAS ABLE TO GET IT MAIL TO ME (I PAY FOR THE MAILING FEE).

CanadaBreakfast is not a buffet and served per dish from the hotel bistro bar. Dishes are well made and tasty but a bit pricey, especially if you are with kids. No microwaves in rooms, so you'll have to use the only microwave available in the lobby.
Modern hotel in a convenient location with a very nice-equipped gym, small pool and a whirlpool.

United StatesMy wife and chose the hotel for it's amenities. I feel like the communication between the website and hotel to me was not great. A few areas such as the lounge were closed causing those within our party to leave the grounds when it was specifically a large part of our reservation that we did not want to do so. It was extremely disappointing. I would have changed my reservation and made those in my party void of the inconvenience had I been informed of the change in amenities. When I asked the staff for answers they were polite even though they were not knowledgable to give a suitable answer.
The staff was polite. My room was accommodating and very clean. The overall inside appearance of the hotel was inviting and comfortable. The location couldn't be better.

United StatesStaffing was inadequate. Had to wait too long for any presence at the front desk for several minutes at a time. Also only one person working the "Bistro" in the evenings, doing all orders, food and beverage prep, and delivery! Finally, they need better signage for those arriving by car. Very confusing and poorly marked entrance.
The hotel is clearly very new. The lobby and rooms are quite stylish and well-appointed, everything very clean This is one of several hotels located near the Sanford Medical Center, and this one is the most convenient for waking access.
