How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I did not like the food at the on-site restaurant. Service was excellent but the quality of the food could be better.
I chose this hotel because I was having surgery in a nearby hospital and I live in another state. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a great place to recuperate. As it turned out, surgery went well and I did not need the room for the two nights I booked it. The manager was kind and considerate and upon explaining my situation, he refunded one night so that I could check out early.

The walls and ceilings did not block the sound of neighboring guests.
It was very clean. The Bistro serving breakfast and a few items and drinks in the evening was a great convenience. There was a fire pit, heated indoor pool and gym, and ample parking.

The restaurant could be a little nicer. It’s more like a cafe…staff however were very nice.

Bistro was the worst food ever. Soups were cold, not even warm. Sent back, couldn't eat as tasted like tomato sauce for pasta. The grilled cheese sandwich was horrible, and I didn't eat either. 2 sandwiches,2 soups, and 1 whiskey sour for $50+. I had to go out to eat after a 7 hour drive.
Clean. Looks updated.

Absolutely no complaints!
Everything! Great staff hey CJ! great front staff...food , awesome had the burger fries arugula salad! Yummm...my grandson lived the breakfast sandwich and I. Loved the French toast! The drinks!!! Must try the Margaritas!

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas. The property is very clean, the staff was friendly and with really comfortable inside and outside sitting areas. The breakfast was marvelous. I was very impressed with the food. The surrounding area is great with small shops and 10 minute drive from Spanish restaurants. :)

On check-in, there was no water to drink in the room. A couple of bottles could have been put in the room or the reception could have told us. Had to go back to the lobby and get it. The coffee sold in the lobby was at room temperature. The staff there do not seem to know that when one of the 2 coffees bought is a decaf, they should mark it on the glass. A complementary breakfast would have been nice.
The size of the room. The bathroom was nice. No disturbance by cleaning staff.

we could not use the pool. 8 very loud teenagers came in as we were going to get towels, they had a loud boombox. just wanted to relax in the pool. The lounge bar was loud a party going on i think. we went to our room and left early to come home. for the price it would have been nice to use the pool. I never received my confirmation number.
it had a pool. we were on the first floor that was nice because I'm handicapped. it was nice and clean. the staff was very helpful. I did not receive my confirmation and some how my first name was put as my last name .he looked till he found it Thank you

Room appliances and a/c could have been a bit quieter but didn’t prevent me from getting to sleep.
