Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI was charged for an extra night that I did not stay. I booked through booking.com prior to staying. Then they processed my card for incidentals. I did not have any for my stay. Then I looked at my card statement 2 days later and I had been charged for another night. I have called twice and the hotel says it will be resolved, but the $197 has not been credited to my account. They state that they are working with booking.com.
It was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable.

United States$15 to park per car is a bit silly mid week in that area. I have stayed at many ofnthebhorels in Manhattan, and it is the only one that has charged like that. Also my booking for 2 adults had breakfast included. However, the staff had to manually add it after I showed my booking receipt. Even then, I could only get breakfast for one. The mattress in my room was TERRIBLE. It was very hard and lumpy. There was a large, hard knot in the mattress at my mid back all night. Sadly, this made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.
The location is great if you're looking for something close to Aggigeville. If you want peace and quiet, you may want to choose another place. Aggieville is the center of college-aged nighttime activity, so it can get a bit rowdy.

United StatesNo breakfast without paying for it. No room clean up unless requested. Were not informed of that at check in.. Parking was terrible. Heater/AC was not working correctly, fan didn't run right, temperature would go from 66-72, just cycled couldn't adjust for one temperature. Over priced for no breakfast and etc.
Bed was fine, bathroom shower were fine.

United StatesOur room’s a/c was not working properly. Room temp was 77. It was 100 outside and we had been at the football game. So 77 was not cold enough. The front desk gave us fans, but said there weren’t any other rooms to change to. They said we could complain to the mgr the next day but we were short on time so we just left.

United StatesThe location of our room. I asked to move none available. The bed was not made nicely and when I looked again there was a female hair on the pillow. I called no housekeeping now available. She brought up new pillow cases. My boyfriend started a shower turn his head to look down someone’s pubic hair in the entry to the shower. Called again front desk was very apologetic. Offered free parking and free breakfast for all of the problems. Now she said she thought she might have another room. At this point I had my bags unpacked so I declined! She wasn’t even able to confirm that there was in fact another room. Breakfast was bad even though it was free. I would have been very unhappy if I have paid the ridiculous prices!
Lobby was nice.

United KingdomFront desk staff member was rude. There were lights in our room that wouldn’t turn on and the lady at the front desk acted as if we were massively inconveniencing her by asking her if there was a way we could have someone check the lights. When maintenance came up, they still could not get the lights to turn on. the only upside was that once they realised that there actually was a problem and we weren’t being dramatic, they offered to discount our room. We were offered a new room or 10% discount (we chose the discount as we’d already unpacked) but nobody put notes on the system, so we had a longer checkout while someone called the manager to check.

United StatesThe parking options are terrible. Required valet should not be the only option as some people are not willing or able to hand over their keys. I was told the hotel suggests street parking or the parking garage as an alternative. Both these options have restrictions on when you are able to park there. For example, there is no parking in Aggieville from 3am-6am. It should be an option to include the parking fee, but be allowed to park your car yourself.
The room was clean with modern furnishings. It was a good price for the location. Check in was very easy.

United StatesThe price is huge. For that price, which I have no issue paying, should bring amazing food, complementary transportation to and from the Airport. Car service within a reasonable close distance. Frozen Chicken strips should not be on the menu not even by the pool. And if they are they should be house-made. Horrible.
