Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesIf I have to choose something, I guess the fact I was on the second floor. There was an elevator but being handicapped it may be feel uneasy.
It was convenient to my event. The Marriott was a wonderful choice for me. I couldn’t have chosen a more comfortable room.

United Stateshad to change rooms because the bathroom was not up to standard. Fan was broken and toilet backed up. New room had pillow cases with stains on them. It was already 11pm when we switched rooms. Neighboring room was having a party after midnight and I had to make several calls to the front desk. It did not seem to stop them because they finally stopped after 1 am. I called and complained at midnight. We had an early morning so didn't get much sleep.
