Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Property was very nice. Great exercise room. Our first room had a water leak at the bathroom sink, so we moved to another room. I could not sleep as there was a constant humming noise. Had to put earphones with music all night. Got very little sleep. A manager did give me a few points on my membership. Property is very nice except for room issues.

When my husband and I came down, I let my son use my portion of our card for his meal, and I didn't eat! Seems unfair when we paid more to get his benefit....

United StatesWhen I booked, I selected a booking that included breakfast. On the day of check out, we went to the dining room to order our breakfast. The person who was taking the orders, asked us for our room number. We gave it to her; she looked in the system and said that our breakfast was not included. She asked us to check with the front desk personnel. We walked to the front desk. We explained the situation. The lady at the front desk checked and said that we were right and our breakfast was indeed included. So, we walked back to the dining room and let the employee know. We were finally able to order and have breakfast. It was annoying to go back and forth in order to clear this thing up. Also, the door of the bathroom did not close properly or locked. It stayed open.
We enjoyed the beds. They were comfortable, and the air conditioning was quite. The blueberry muffin was really good.
