No complimentary breakfast. For the price of the room, which is hiked on football weekends, you could provide breakfast. I could find other hotels on area for same or cheaper rate that would offer it.

Nice hotel on good location near University. Comfortable bed, and adequate work out facility.

the room could have been vacuumed a bit better. Had to ask for sheets and blankets for the pull-out bed. Was only given two fitted sheets for the pull-out bed, but not a big deal, we made do. The pool was closed for maintenance which upset the kiddos.

The balcony was an added touch we did not expect. Instant hot water when you turned on the faucet. Loved the shower. Clean fluffy towels. The air conditioning actually cooled down to where it was set.

I was a little upset that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance on Memorial Day weekend

I did not like that booking.com did not make me aware the pool was out of service. Also i had to switch rooms because the first room had ants.

I liked that the property was in a convenient location. they offered a bistro and snacks. Also the staff was very friendly.

The staff was not very warm or welcoming. They were transactional at best and need a lesson in friendly customer service.

we reserved a room with 2 queens and were told they were all gone. But the person on the desk talked to the room folks and found one. So in the end it worked out.

Went to a JMU graduation and Hotel was in good location. The room was good and the staff were helpful.

Only one chair on the balcony. Air conditioner did not cool very well. The bar/restaurant was not open in the evenings even though the hotel was sold out—they missed out on a lot of business!

Having a room near the elevators and ice machine.

Location and price were what I wanted. The room was clean. If you stay away from the elevators and the 2nd floor it’s quiet. The 2nd floor at the elevators is open to the lobby.

no liquid soap in shower dispenser. shredded sofa bolster and pillows. No clean towels, even when requested (as had to clean up a coffee accident). No coffee refill for second day, without going to desk...after requesting 5 hours earlier. Bed headdboard is bolters, with pillowcase coverings that left 5" exposed on each one.

No continental.breakfast, where competitors do at Comfort Inn where we stayed the week before. Price was higher, and wasn't the cleanest room I've had lately. TV Channels were limited, quality of remodel? in room is not great..furniture crooked, window was dirty and foggy..couldn't see through. Bed was average..and poorly made up.

I booked thos hotel as we were moving our daughter to JMU. I booked a stay for four people. 3 adults one kid. I stated the kid is 15. So it is almost like having 4 adults. To save a little bit of money I opted to get a king with a pull out couch. It was advertised as though it sleeps four. The two girls don't mind sharing a bed and have always shared the pullout while on trips. The pull out couch only slept one and there were no pillows or blankets in the room for the pullout. We go down stairs and the front desk states they have no additional rooms we could switch to and they have no additional blankets or pillows. She handed us a few sheets and lots of towels to use to cover up to stay warm. For the price we payed, I was expecting a lot more. Worst experience ever The only saving grace was the people were nice. It would have been even better to be compensated for our troubles and inconvience My youngest slept on the floor the first night as she refused to try and share the king with her dad and I Not cool. If they feel that room can adequately sleep 4 they must be crazy. Oh, we also booked for two nights Came back for the second night and our room was not serviced. We asked about blankets and still had none to give. Nor pillows.
