Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Did not want to stay for breakfast or anything else due to the construction the 1 elevator I was quite dissatisfied. If I had known about the renovations I would have stayed somewhere else. Secondly, I could not access Wi-Fi for my work.

United Statesthey did not disclose the construction going on and Very WELL AWARE that 99% of guests were for college drop off and only 1 working elevator which I lost at least 2 hours of my life waiting for. unacceptable for Marriott. corporate should have been made aware about local situation. front desk was mainly dismissive to all guests. least I mention: when checking in I was asked for housekeeping I answered yes everyday result no housekeeping day 1 And the pull out couch in my king suite had stains all over mattress REALLY in this post Covid world. we should have never had to see that deal with it

PanamaOne of the elevators was out of order so we always had to wait a long time to take the elevator. The hallways were covered in a sort of plastic sheet that stuck to everything (shoes, suitcases, etc). There was a bit of construction dust and construction noise during the day. The AC was very noisy too. The breakfast starbucks was very slow and the food quality was lower than in other starbucks. I wish I would have known somehow that they were performing renovations before booking.
Very well located in the heart of coral gables. A couple blocks away from many things like target, miracle mile. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

United KingdomI booked a King room and I ended with a Queen bed, I complained and they told me the system assignment is random ... well, in that case why did it let me book a King in the first place? The room was the noisiest I ever been in any hotel, it was facing a main road and they don't have double glazing, the windows look from the 1960s you can hear everything from the street and I was on a high floor! Take your best earplugs if you want to get any sleep here. Very small bathroom and with mould around the shower sealant. The toilet is in cm distance to the shower and the wash basin. I went to buy water and they charged me $4.01 (yes, 4 dollars and 0.01!! ridiculous) for a small bottle, same size and brand was $1.50 in all the other hotels I have been in the area, total rip off to your customers Courtyard! Overall it was overpriced for the poor comfort quality and the room I was given, I did not like it and would not book here again. The staff did not do anything to change it or make it better.
Location is great, very close to restaurants and the nice and clean area of Coral Gables in walking distance.

I liked that the property was close to campus, clean, and most importantly had a refrigerator and microwave in the room with a mini-market and Starbucks/Bistro on-site. Made the trip with my 4yo so much easier. Pool and surrounding lounge areas were nice.
