Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was not as advertised on booking.com. We required 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa and booked that. When entering the room after check-in, we quickly found that no sleeper sofa was in room. Called the front desk to inquire and they said it is an issue with 3rd parties keep showing it having a sleeper sofa when the rooms do not. Highly disappointed in this inaccuracy. Needs to fix this issue as it is false advertisement.
Staff was helpful with questions and other inquiries. Rooms were clean.

United StatesI did not like the smoke coming through the vents. I have medical reasons and I hope in the future the situation will be better for those using the facilities.
I liked the room and location because it was convenient, comfortable, and met my needs. The staff was nice and helpful. I appreciated the staff's quick response to my complaint about the smoke coming through the vents. It helped. I think breakfast should be free.

United StatesBathtub: You ned to apply some type of finish to the bathtub some it is not so slippery. Very dangerous!!
Room: The room was very nice. The only problem, that could be a serious problem for you is your shower. The bathtub is extremely slippery. I slipped and almost fell twice while showering. If someone falls and gets hurt, you will get sued.

I chose this hotel because it was $200 less than the hotel my colleagues stayed in, and it was right across the street. The room was very nice. It overlooked the atrium and had a balcony. It also had a 60” TV.
