Shower is small and the layout of the room in general could be improved. They are however already updating their rooms so this is most likely already being changed.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Outdoor hot tub, lovely indoor seating areas. Homemade breakfast and drinks throughout the day. Location is great too. Would stay again for sure.

Location is great, off the main route but close to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. The inn is immaculately clean, not a spec of dust, floors spotless. Breakfast was great,the homemade yogurt is amazing!

So charming and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and availability of water, juice, coffee, treats ect. Was a great plus. The beds were outstanding and the room nice and warm. Also, loved the history of Babe Ruth’s Daughter Julia, which we did not know about.

The only thing that could have been better is if the pool was heated, it was very cold. It was the end of the season though so could be why it was freezing.

We were bringing our daughter to storyland for the first time and this bed and breakfast was only 10 minutes away. Super easy check in process and friendly staff there to assist if we needed anything. Room was clean and beds were so comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. Ladies in the kitchen were very welcoming and sweet. We will definitely be back!

we booked it quickly last minute and needed something, I had no idea it had a hot tub or pool. Knew we had breakfast included and that it would be a decent place. It turned out wonderful, better than we could have expected, only wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast service was wonderful, the fridge space if we had anything to put in there, the drink station, the beautiful lot, etc. very pleased.

A home-away-from-home experience!!! Beautiful-comfortable from the entrance to our room. Very bright and Sunny. And also we were so blessed to stay in Babe Ruth's visiting room. Ownership of the lodge has changed hands more than once in the past couple decades. New owners are working hard to update the place. The buildings were erected a LONG time ago, and the loft building shows its age. Bedrooms are being updated with new mattresses and bathroom fixtures. Our room had a great mattress, but both the toilet and the love seat were low, which could be a problem for older folks. Bathtub had a jacuzzi that we loved (although the bathroom itself is dated). Space for clothing in the "suite" was limited to a small rack to hang clothing. Ice maker in the main building was tiny. With the new owners, and the awesome staff, we expect there will be a lot of improvements in the upcoming years!

The owners and staff crew are friendly and welcoming. Oh my goodness, the breakfasts were good! One day we had eggs AND raspberry pancakes! Delicious! Staff left cookies out, and complementary selzer/soda. Yogurt, juice, fruit and coffee were available around the clock. There's a hot tub and small swimming pool for guests. One of the most important criterion for us is that they allow dogs, albeit in a limited number of rooms.
