How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Need hooks and towel bars in bathroom. Nowhere to hang anything! lol.
The hotel was nice. Very clean. Basic amenities. Friendly staff. Bonus for having a pool and workout facility. Extra bonus large jacuzzi tub in my King Suite room. Totally made my stay! I would stay again. It’s a pretty good value and convenient location for business travel.

I was told I would get a 10% discount by the casino, but the girl at the front desk wrote down my info, and I never heard back or received my discount.

Again, everything including staff (Kayla) was wonderful and everything we and our guests who stayed there expected, thank you. It was the check-in process that was somewhat difficult, awkward, and embarrassing for our guests staying there and for us as the ones who made the booking and paying for it, In essence when I made these reservations it said I could pay at check-in, I gave credit card info and got emails stating all was in order and looking forward to stay. When our guests arrived and checked in, they couldn't as the hotel needed a credit card authorization form filled out my me. They emailed pdf requested it be filled out by myself and emailed back to them. The pdf they sent I could not fill out online. I had to find an app to even open it and print it. After filling it out I could either scan in to the computer, attach it as a pdf and email back or I could take a picture of it and send then a text. I was very upset, embarrassed, and felt bad for our guests who had to just set there and wait. After some time it was taken care of and our guests checked in. I have never encountered this anywhere before even there. As we have booked our guests there several times. When I booked this I filled out not just credit info and phone # which they already had, but also address including town etc. Why? When I booked this I gave my credit card info as I have in so many places and as such I authorized this charge.
Everything was great as I said, however i have included comments below to explain my response.

Good selection of breakfast foods, especially fresh fruit. Very quiet room even though it faced the highway. Shuttle bus to the casino across the highway was great.

Room had a loud echo. We could here everything in the halls and the room across the way... they weren't even being loud

I was in a pet room. And the room next to me I think the people left their pet alone and it was a big dog with a loud bark that barked a lot.

The ugly and worn orange chairs in the rooms are the same chairs that were there when our daughter worked there 12 years ago. They need replaced. Also, our room was on the south side of the building, and when I was lying in bed, I was looking at the huge sign at Seven Feathers travel center. There are no good blinds to block it out. The price of gas is permanently burned into my eyeballs. I never want a room on that side of the building again.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's also in close proximity to the casino where we had to be for a Christmas party.

The heater made a lot of noise but we changed the setting and it was fine.
The room was wonderfully clean. We could hear the traffic but it wasn’t bothersome. I liked the shuttle to the casino. Breakfast was nice.

Unfortunately our heater in our room was making a very loud clicking noise so we had to sleep with it off. Also, bodywash dispenser was empty. Exercise room sanitizer wipes was empty. TV
Everything was very clean and breakfast was hot, well stocked and delicious.
