I was double charged. Not just a pending hold but both the Booking and hotel charges went through. I called the hotel and spent 20 minutes on hold getting it sorted out. They apologised and said they would fully refund me, minus a $5 “tourism fee”. I laughed, and requested my FULL refund as they already received the “tourism fee” on the first charge. The staff member seemed surprised I wanted my full refund. BANANAS.

Check in was smooth. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the airport and rental car return zone.

Breakfast! Ran out of coffee on both mornings, considering we were there for a conference staff should’ve been more attentive. Food was not great and the grits were way to watery couldn’t even eat them.

Beds were very comfortable; the room was nice overlooking the pool and atrium. Visited the bar one night for drinks and a light meal, service was good.

The pool is in the center of the motel. The glass above the pool so you could see the sky and clouds. The spacious lounge area. The staff was polite and courteous.

Mary who checked us in was amazing. We had spent 7 hours at DTW with the day ending in a cancelled flight at 1:15am. Mary greeted us with a smile in the middle of the night and was the only positive person we encountered the entire day. Her upbeat personality made things a bit better.

It was a little pricey for one night but we paid for the convenience.

We stayed here one night to make it easier for us to catch our early flight at DTW. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the price of parking was cheaper than the airport.

Pool and Jacuzzi were filthy, food everywhere and poop in the pool.. jacuzzi water was turning a faint brown color. They need staff to monitor and clean every 30 min to a hour there.

I love the modern set up. Very big, full breakfast available and the rooms were spacious with beautiful bathrooms.

Room service was confusing. No clear cut instructions on that how worked. The pool!!! So loud, acoustics were not implemented in the design. To hear grown women yelling in the pool close to 10 and no staff saying be quite was disheartening. I do not like that my review has to be reviewed before posting! Feels constricting.

The hotel is set up with the common areas in the middle of the structure, with the rooms around them. The noise level in the rooms off the charts high. Every sounds echos up to the rooms, especially from the indoor pool.

The property was clean and in a good location to the airport. The facilities were nice.

The staff were so kind. They made me forget how badly Delta screwed me over. Honestly, the kindness I was shown after missing a flight, and my luggage along with it, makes me want to have more layovers in Detroit. Thank you for the toiletries. The restaurant was amazing after a long, stressful day. And the bed! I slept 12 hours that night.
