Construction going on at the time of booking so the lobby was in a bit of disarray with the desk constantly moving. Understand that it has to be done so nothing staff can do. Some of the decor is a bit dated and are reminiscent of more of a motel but I'm sure it'll be lovely after all the renovations are complete.

Good location, nice pool area and gym. Restaurant was buzzing daily which was nice. Good proximity to other stores and restaurants too. Room was large and spacious.

The construction in the lobby is a bit off-putting, but understandable that it is in an attempt to make things better for guests. The check in desk is small and undermanned. There were multiple times that I had to wait in excess of 10min before being able to check in or out of my room. I will definitely check out the mobile check in/out option during future visits. The staff at the desk seemed frustrated in some way by every guest they spoke with and appeared to have a bit of an attitude before any interactions were made.

My experience with Doubletree Hilton was a positive one, enough so that I booked another room here for my trip the following week. The location is within walking distance of multiple dining options and my room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed dinner down at Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar and the cookies from the front desk are 10/10!

Air conditioning made a loud noise on and off. Poor lightning and some outlets didn't work. The pocketdoor in the bathroom didn't close completely and besides does not make the bathsoom private.

Not a whole lot to dislike, honestly. The price was a little steep, but it is understandable given the location. Hallways had that typical "old hotel smell". I'm guessing that has to do with the outdated carpets (which are in dire need of change). The hotel is clearly past its prime. The ongoing conversion to a DoubleTree feels like the right move.

Hotel looked attractive overall, but does need some updating as certain areas scream "worn and torn". Room and bed were comfortable. Loved the pillows. The shower was pleasant as well. The included breakfast, which was tasty, was à la carte--a refreshing departure from the standard, buffet-style continental fare. For us the location was perfect. It close to where we needed to be for a business engagement.

It needs an upgrade I really don’t understand all the bad reviews at this hotel, we almost canceled account of them but didn’t and was very glad we didn’t. Yes it’s a little old but it was clean had no bad smell like the other reviews said. Would definitely go back. The only negative was the breakfast in the restaurant it was awful, eggs over done, potatoes cold, would go elsewhere for breakfast.

The first room had a hole in the wall and smelled of smoke. But, the front desk rep changed out room immediately and upgraded us. The upgrade, however, wasn't different from our original room. Just on a different floor, that was special access, but nothing remarkable or different from anything else we saw to warrant special access. It wasn't worth the money spent to stay there. The beds were EXTREMELY hard and made for a hard nights rest.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating.

I did not like the customer service at shoeless joes restaurant! I used to live in fort Myers so I’ve eaten at that restaurant numerous of times and I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I called in an order for my 1 year old over the phone and immediately the lady had a nasty attitude. Then when I got there to pick up the food I patiently waited about 3 mins as one employee was busy handling something else but never acknowledged me standing right by her. I’ve worked customer service all my life so a simple “hi there, I’ll be right with you in just a moment” would have been all she had to say. So I walked over to the other side as there were 3 other employees and the lady yells across the restaurant “I seen you standing there. I was busy doing something” in just a rude tone! I immediately walked out and did not buy my food as I will never support bad customer service. She then called my cell phone twice but I did not answer. Please evaluate your employees! I loved your restaurant but I will not return just because of this one incident.
