My only complaint was that I couldn’t get the cable to work on the tv. Too many remotes and steps. It’s 2023, it shouldn’t be that hard to watch tv. Bed was super bouncy so maybe an upgrade is needed there.

I wanted to be near the ocean but didn’t want to pay the price of a major hotel chain just for a quick one night trip. Location was excellent! I was steps away from the water, literally. Room was definitely 60s vibes but was clean and comfortable. And, it’s just steps away from my favorite pancake house on the beach! It’s centrally located near all the beach stuff; food and things to do.

The place clearly doesn’t like having children as guests. I booked a room with two double beds, when we arrived and they saw we had two kids they charged me an extra $50 to have them there. The front desk was thoroughly irritated and unkind, aggressively typing numbers into an old calculator to tally how much he would charge me to have the extra “guests”. There are signs everywhere that are very unwelcoming. It’s a beach resort and there are signs that say to leave sand at the beach, to go back to the beach showers and rinse off before going to your hotel room. The pool has signs that say “no toys, no jumping, no yelling, no splashing”. There are signs that say if anyone comes to visit you during your stay you will be evicted without refund. All the signs are over the top. They made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. While taking my 11 and 13yr old to the pool the older lady, who appears to own the place, came out to make sure an adult was present. I am in my 40’s and clearly don’t come across as a child myself. It was over stepping and controlling to say the least. They spared no expense to show their distaste in having children around. It’s a shame because the hotel is very cute and retro.

This place is beautiful and clean. The entire building and rooms are spotless. It’s amazing how well taken care of it is. The rooms are very retro and remind me of the 80’s. The kitchens have super cool appliances. It’s impressive how well up kept they are. It’s conveniently located right in the heart of everything. The rooms are quiet.

I Love the cottage feel and comfort of the room. It had a kitchenette and was well stocked with dishes and utensils. I loved the location. Even if it's not beach front you do still have a view of the ocean but it's a very convenient location for the beach. Just a walk across the street down, cross the boardwalk, down the ramp and and there you are. It's wasn't as congested on the beach at this location either.

I didn't like that they did not provide paper towels or bath towels. Also, one on the rooms didn't have an a/c unit and it was an oven in there. The tv was very small and not good channels. The biggest problem was that there is only 1 parking spot for 1 car.

I like that the kitchen was equipped. The sofa bed was not bad at all. The short walking distance to the beach was the biggest bonus.

Really not a lot to complain about. The wing we stayed in was a bit dark and dingy. Wifi was advertised but not available which upset the kids in the evening. The shower was raised some so my nephews head hit the ceiling. He did tell us that when we arrived but that would have been nice to have known ahead of time.

The beach was a 30 second walk away and the west wing we stayed in was very spacious. It was a basement so it was musty and a bit moldy but nothing that was bad. They were very nice and attentive to us, i would definitely return.

Kitchen sink was leaking badly upon arrival. Staff fixed it the next day.

Small pool was nice. Beach/boardwalk right across street. Quaint old home, not your typical hotel room. Nice porch to relax. Staff was very nice and responsive to needs.

The tub in my room did not have something to contain water so as to take a bath/soak. That would have been nice but it was a great shower. Water pressure and water temp fantastic.

staff was great. greeted by owner was a welcome surprise. phone call to check on our arrival was fantastic. We extended our stay a day x 2.
