The hotel had a pool, which my son was very excited about. We went down in the morning, two hours after the pool was supposed to open, but it was still closed. I actually chose this hotel and paid extra because of the pool. The "breakfast" room had one apple and one muffin in a plastic wrapper. The coffee was a strange brown liquid.

The staff was very nice. The hotel was pleasant and clean. The room was comfortable with great beds and a mini fridge.

Shower creaked, ceiling had damage from frequent leaks, screen door and blinds torn, outside of building was dirty and dated, halls smelled from people cooking in rooms, noises from room overhead, barking dog and shady people constantly standing outside smoking, were among the many issues we noticed. TV was basic up and down channels, no option to rent a movie. Prices in Burlington in October are very high, this room was least expensive at -300 / night after taxes.

Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok if you like microwaved eggs from a bag, reheated frozen sausage discs and wrapped muffins. Bagels and coffee were good.

You could hear the upstairs patrons walking around, but overall it was pretty quiet.

Location is very close to the freeway and a quick drive into downtown Burlington. You would need to drive to any restaurants. Breakfast was standard. The staff was friendly and helpful

Our overall review of "passable" says it all about this Days Inn by Wyndham!

The kindest thing we can say about the breakfast was that on leaving the hotel after our one-night stay we immediately looked for somewhere to actually get a breakfast! We arrived at breakfast to find no scrambled eggs or bacon (only empty containers), no orange or apple juice coming from the fruit juice machine (containers empty) and even the fresh water bottle (large size) needing changing - the word "fiasco" seems appropriate!! It wasn't a complimentary breakfast as advertised - it was only complimentary bagels and waffles!!

This review was very difficult to write, whilst attempting to give a fair and balanced opinion of what was good and what was not good! We were touring New Hampshire and Vermont for 3 days and Burlington was chosen from the map for our second night stay in what is a rural area. It seemed a good idea at the time. However, I still have not come up with a plausible reason to my wife as to why we drove 3 hrs up the Interstate in driving rain from Campton NH to visit Burlington for that one night. Reception was good and the lady on reception was very helpful with advice on where we could eat in the evening, as there is no restaurant in the Days Inn. We were directed to Winooski, where most restaurants were either closed or assaulted our ears with 'canned' music - in addition, parking in Winooski was somewhat difficult or none-existent. We finally drove east out of Burlington/Winooski until we found an open fast-food restaurant to ease our hunger pangs Our room had a reasonable standard of furniture and comfort - if we discount the fact that the room carpet and the carpets in the hallway were crying out for a good clean (hoover). Breakfast we will review under "What we didn't like" below. This was our first (and last) visit to Burlington and the Days Inn by Wyndham!

Property needs a major facelift. Carpet was dated and dirty. Laminate floors in room needs to be mopped better. Price was a little excessive for the property and amenities.

There were many people in the lobby who were unkempt, swearing and yelling loudly. Also, many people smoking in the parking lot. It appeared that part of the hotel is being used to house the homeless population? The hallway carpeting was worn and had many awkward steps and doorways.

The front desk staff was very nice and extremely friendly! Room was very clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was average. The pool was clean and nice.

Bed was a full….under the impression it would be a queen. Balconies haven’t been power washed in so long that spiders are infiltrating the room and all over the balcony. Room had a stale cigarette smell. We don’t smoke so it was very noticeable. Room was missing a do not disturb sign so people came in to clean when we didn’t want them too.

Location, balcony, breakfast. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room had what we needed and had a nice sized mini fridge. Hard floors and not old carpet were a mega plus.

It is a place where other people permanent live, homeless people with kids and dogs. Only ca. 5% of the guests are usual paying hotel guests like us. I felt misplaced. It was really strange to pay a relative high hotel price to have breakfast with homeless. The walls are thin and even after midnight noisy from the other rooms. The bathroom fan and the water pipess are terrible noisy. Especially if other guests take a bath after midnight. Very olddated.

No carpet in the room and nice bed sheets, friendly staff
