How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I felt that the bathroom lacked. It was clean enough, but paint was peeling off the door frame and the tub looked old/dirty.
Jay at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The parking lot was clean and quiet. The beds were great!

Everything was good.
Room was clean,bed was comfortable. Quiet at night.Pet friendly hotel. Hot breakfast served from 6-9....eggs,sausage biscuits and gravy, waffles and assorted pastries bagels and toast.

The breakfast was lacking. Very small area and the food was not refilled in a timely manner.
Staff was friendliest staff of anywhere I've stayed. Price was super along with the location for my needs.

I didnt like the bathroom area but it wasn't that bad just need to update the tub it feels like your falling in it when u get in instead of stepping right in there and down fall to it.
The room was very clean, the bed was nice as well, we enjoyed our stay I would recommend a better tub more so shower area. Overall we had a great time and staff was a bonus..

The breakfast provided was decent for places like this, but the eating area in the lobby was cramped. They are limited by how much they can do, given the original design of (and space provided by) the check-in area for the old motel.
It was an older property, but it was clear the owners/proprietors were attempting to put money into it to upgrade the experience. The room was big and clean, the furniture was relatively new, and the bed was comfortable.

I wish there had been individual yoghurt served but that’s just being picky. The floor of the bathroom needed cleaning. I have curly hair, shoulder level. There was a long black hair on the floor along with dirt.
Impressed with the breakfast. I was expected a continental breakfast but was surprised to find biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs and sausage links, along with pancake/waffles made fresh. The sausage gravy was very good which I truly didn’t expect. Beds were very comfortable and heat/ac worked perfectly.

The door to my bathroom had peeling paint which detracted from the looks of the room. They are in the process of renovating the hotel and perhaps did not get to that one yet.
Location, price, employees were very friendly and breakfast was good but would be better if they would add more fruit. There were two apples and that was all.

The lights above the vanity did not work. So it was hard to see to apply my make up. There was no iron and ironing board. Booking.com said there was. Other than that everything was fine.

The motel overall was very shabby. While the room was slightly updated, there was rust all over the front of the mini fridge and it was terribly noisy. Would not stay again.

Breakfast was only ample with no plates, only bowls. Packaged eggs and no breakfast meat. We were given a room near the pool where the sofa was wet from the previous tenant, so we had to switch rooms, which took too long.
Perfect location for a road stop and we loved the style and the hardwood floors. The pool looked lovely and we would have gone in had we arrived earlier.
