Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Was totally no desire to address problem. ,ask possibly remove couple towels from un occupied room,she responed can,t .Ask for mangers number or owner again she replied don,t have anyone's number. So I preceded to write down Windham web. After few I don,t understands how motel does not have towels an leaving front office . She on cell phone after of decided key to laundry room she happened find. Finally she decided to go get towels. End story the young lady was to lazy an occupied in her laptop to deal with guest!!!

United StatesWe booked online. Nowhere on the booking or anywhere in the emails we received did it mention a cash deposit required when we get there. Upon arrival we were told we would have to put up a cash deposit and if we didn't have it the only atm was down the street at a gas station. So we had to leave the hotel and pay a $4.95 charge at the atm and then return to check in. This is not acceptable and bad business. I will never stay at a Windham Days Inn again. Then once in the room, while it was clean the blanket on the bed if you can call it that was little more than a thicker sheet. We also specifically asked for a room with a tub. We got a tub. A tub where only the shower worked and the controls on the shower were loose and spinning around. You could not turn the shower off and switch it regular water for the tub. Once we tried to check out we had to wait for 5 minutes for someone to check our room. I don't know what they thought we could do to make the room any worse. Not a great experience.

Breakfast was adjacent to the reception. Coffee, cereal, waffles. Basic but decent. Mattresses were comfortable.

Check in before midnight get there like 11 and the doors lock had to wait on the lady's to come to a window and then they take my card out of view saying you have to use the card you booked with smh. And the room was not so great the shower nod fall off when we turned the water on the TV was small as a computer screen and the spectrum cable channel where half coming through

United StatesThe exterior looked nothing like the picture in the Booking.com listing, and as we arrived late evening, it was hard to find as there was no lighted signage and the GPS directions were wrong - took us to an apartment complex near the hotel. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, which is fine, but the exterior access door to the 2nd floor which you needed you key to enter never shut fully so it wasn't secure. The rooms were dirty and stained and not in great condition. The bed was comfortable until you realized it was so old the it was broken not soft, and there was no mattress protector so when the sheet pulled off the corner it was bare, stained mattress staring at us - gross! Also, several 1st floor units appear to be long-term residents and they have dogs, which is fine. Except that they don't leash their dogs and let their dogs do their business right by the door/walkway and don't clean it up. We were traveling with dogs so it was a bit of a safety issue to have loose dogs and dog poop where we walked.
The person checking us in was friendly and got the process done as quickly as possible despite having lots of printer issues.

United Stateswe booked the room and I walked into the lobby once we arrived and was told “ oh it’s going to take a while since you booked online.” I tried showing the clerk my confirmation number and she replied “ that doesn’t work for us.” Very slow process and a bit frustrating. I booked online to move along the check in process since it was so late. The bathroom wasn’t clean.
