Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel owners , I'm assuming that I interacted with the morning I checked out were so polite and made us feel welcome! The room was clean even though it's not a newer property.

Location was great, staff were really nice and helpful. There was a bad thunderstorm during our stay and power went out but came right back on. It is quiet . We've stayed here a few times and will be back.

United StatesThe main lobby and registration area remained locked area until the morning. The location was acceptable, but because of the security, it made me wonder if the area had a high crime rate. Also, it was hard to get to when coming from the opposite side of the main road.
The manager of the hotel was very pleasant, helpful, and considerate. The room was clean and efficient.

United StatesI would have liked an extra pillow. The double room came with 4 sorta flat pillows. I’m sure they would have quickly provided me with one of I had asked. There was only a drink machine in the vending area and it was out of order at the time of our stay.
The bed was firm but comfortable. The staff was very friendly even when I had an issue with the remote. They even called back to make sure everything was working well.

The owners/management were very friendly and had bubbly personalities. The hotel was pet friendly and it was only $15 per night for our pet to stay with us. The room smelled fresh when we walked in and the room was very clean. The owners take pride in their hotel. We enjoyed our stay there and the price was great! Thanks for a very nice stay.
