Internet access was non existent. The heating was hard to control. We were constantly adjusting the thermostat to try keeping warm. We were constantly either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was almost non existent.

Solo traveller from the UK. A warm and friendly welcome when checking in and throughout my entire 10 nights stay at the hotel. The receptionist lady (I'm sorry I didn't ask her name) was very lovely and helpful and went above and beyond for service and questions. I know my stay was through the quieter season, but nothing was too much if I ran out of anything for my room. My room was on the second floor with a beautiful mountain view. I very much appreciated that it was a non-smoking floor and no lingering remanence of smoke in my room from previous stayers. The room was a great size for two people and had everything you needed including a fridge and a microwave. I slept very well, enjoying the black-out blind in the room and a comfy king sized bed. I would definitely hope to come back and stay here again.

heat control (didn't have one stuck at 75) TV couldn't turn had to get staff to turn it on behind the TV, couldn't change channels-- NO HANDICAP ACCES ,- WE stayed on the 3rd, floor NO ELEVATOR, Couch looked as 1960"s dirty-dingy along with the 1 chair very dingy , No suitcase caddy something truly not right , Want a reimbursement of some MONEY

The location at night was less than desirable. but once you find it, it's great!!!

I wanted a room on the first floor. None was available. At check in the lady said for an upgrade fee i could get a "room with a view" which was technically on the "first" floor. I accepted.

They didn't tell us we could get coffee and snacks in the lobby in the morning, so we missed out.

Nice enough hotel, met our expectations. Traveller note: there is an excellent parking lot, very near some of the rooms, at the top of the back of the hotel property. If parking easily is desired, (or if you have a truck) call the hotel directly and be sure to reserve one of the special rooms at the top of the back of the hotel. The top (backside) parking is excellent. Otherwise, the parking and stairs situation is typical for hotels.

The room was VERY NASTY. Toilet bowl wasn't clean. Shower still had someone else's hair all over. Dirt and hair throughout the whole room on the floor. I think they just made the bed and called it good. I can go on and on, but why bother. It won't do any good. Honestly, I feel I should get a refund. At least most of it. I'm seriously considering contacting the health department. I should really get some money Back.

1. The location is about 1.5 hours to Yosemite Village. It is farther from Yosemite than I thought it would be. 2. The bed sheets were dirty and not changed. There were crumbs and a lot of hair all under the blankets. The floor wasn’t clean either. 3. The door for breakfast was locked at 6:50 (Wednesday). The lady said breakfast was at 7:00, no big deal we went back at 7:00. The next day (Thursday) the door was locked at 7:20 and she said breakfast isn’t until 8:00. Expect the unexpected…. 4. It does the job to wash and sleep but I wouldn’t recommend if you have kids.

Very old hotel. No USB port other than TV’s side. The bathroom was not so much cleaned. I found some hairs on the wall inside the tub. Very humid and uncomfortable to breathe inside the room. You just get what you pay for…especially around the tourist destination area.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and attentive. The room I got was wonderful. Very spacious. The bed was very comfy. The shower was incredible. Plenty of towels in the room, and overall lots of in room amenities. Just what you need after a long day going through a couple of national parks. It is right in the middle of town with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It served the purpose for a one night stay because of how crowded Yosemite national park gets. It was pricey, but because of the location and time of year I went, it stands to reason why the expense. It is only a 30 minute drive to the south entrance, so it's quite convenient for a Yosemite visit. That's why I chose this hotel. Best way to beat the crowds if you go early enough. Yosemite fills up with people around midday. There is also other nearby attractions that would have been worth a visit had I spent more time in Oakhurst. Highly recommended by far!

They offer breakfast but it's at 7 when it's recommended you get to Yosemite valley by 8 so you can't take advantage of it even if what they have is grab and go. Our room's fridge didn't close. Facility could use an upgrade

The staff & manager was really friendly & professional, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, we forgot some clothes in our room & they went out of their way to called us to let us know. Location was great, definitely will book a room at this place again & definitely recommended.

Breakfast- It said it came with breakfast, but there were only 2 packages of stale Danishes, an apple and a machine with instant coffee. Nothing else! When we asked the owner about the lack of breakfast, he grabbed some bags from a closet and dumped a few more packages of Danishes and a bag of apples into the tray. We were VERY disappointed! The area that was designated as the dinning room looked more like a storage room and had broken furniture in the back. We had to walk to the Denny's nearby to get breakfast. Bedroom- floor was dirty and had mud smears across it. It obviously had not been cleaned.
