The room smelled like mildew and in the morning, the shower only had cold water. Also, not really a fan of the wrist band way of opening the door to the room. I find that a card is more effective.

Location to the international speedway. Being right on the beach. Friendliness of the staff. Free coffee.

No outdoor pool, no hot tub and no slide but hey it's early in the season and they were working on it and kept all the facilities clean and took care of us with no problems. I will Def go back! Everyone was friendly!

So we booked through booking.com, we didn't know they had economy rooms. We got there late but the ladies are so nice in the office the very next morning she upgraded our room. Not sure that would happen late June or July because of vacancy. She was awesome and I know how to book next time. Would go back knowing how to book next time.

The only disappointment was that the outdoor pool was empty when we arrived and we were not made aware of that through the third party that booked our room. There was, however , a very nice indoor pool

The room was very spacious and offered everything that we needed. The View from the balcony was excellent. I liked it that it had a cafe on the premise although they closed up earlier than was stated on their menu.

The first night several inconsiderate people got in the pool from 1am to 2 am. And the loud, echoing bang of the gate each time a person went through it sounded like construction or deconstruction was going on. I realized what the sound was the next day when I went through the gate. We didn't like that coffee is not provided in the room. We waited for the Kafe to open to buy cups of coffee and juice. We overlooked the coffee available in the lobby. Only noticed it was there when checking out. 🤪 The last morning we noticed a gasping hole the hot tub seat, creating a geiser. It was not like that the previous day we had used it. This will need to be inspected/repaired! Also, the knob had been pulled off one the right side timer.

We liked the cool guy who checked us in quickly. We liked the room size and the daily clean towels. We especially liked the two sinks, one in and one outside the bathroom door. We enjoyed the hot tub in the gazebo. We appreciate the enclosed patio pool and were were glad to have a balcony inside the enclosed pool since the weekend was rainy and cold. In nice weather I am not so sure we'd appreciate the first or second level. We enjoyed the hot tub especially because the beach was not an option due to the weather.

Far too many smokers for my liking. It made my room smell rather bad at times. Door would not shut without slamming it.

It didn't seem like the floor was swept very good...the room and sheets were very nice...bed was comfortable...I think I killed one little spider and another type bug...don't know what it was... I don't like that coffee is not available in lobby earlier...I am an early riser

Room 125 was quiet and great by the indoor pool and kafe (when it was open...only able to use it for breakfast Saturday morning...and it was delicious). Thank you for the towel gift...my grandson loved it...I like that everyone you talked to have been coming back to revisit the Lodge for many years...I too have been back and will continue...Love your strict policies...thank you very much Phil Mikalik
