The kitchen was very well stocked, but I was disappointed that there wasn't a tea pitcher. The beds could be upgraded a bit but weren't terrible! There is a couch for 3 people but no other comfortable seating to relax after a long day of skiing. The chairs at the dining table are hard, cold metal.

PARKING and paper thin walls. We could hear the people next door to us like they were setting on our couch.

We brought our snowmoblies and parking was an issue. We knew we would not be able to park our trailer, but every time we left our room and returned, there was always someone else parked in front of our room.

I can’t think of anything. The property even had snow shovels available for use after a major snow storm. They kept the interior driveway cleared as well throughout our stay.

Deer Lodge is perfectly located on the main road in Red River. The staff was extremely kind throughout the visit. The rooms are rustic in nature but perfect for those who will spend a majority of their trip doing activities outside of the room. They have added an outdoor game room since my last visit that would have been excellent to use during the summer months and the linens in the room were clean and everything was in working order. I look forward to staying here again.

The only negative is always the parking. This time a person from Colorado thought they needed to park in front of our room and leave plenty of room in front of theirs. You don't run into people like that often thankfully.

The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as I had hoped but we did okay. There was no a/c but they did provide a box fan and a cracked window let in the cool evening air.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do with the exception of the Michael Martin Murphy concert and that was only 10 minutes away by car.

I would have loved a king bed but the queen was comfortable. A ceiling fan would have been appreciated but the room was cool enough given the cool nights and open window. For a large person like myself, a full size/chair height toilet would have been much appreciated, the little one in the bathroom was a challenge.

The room had no air conditioning with is not a problem if the weather is cooler but might be an issue in the warmer months. Shower was a little sporadic , fluctuating between hot and cold at will!

Location was right in the middle of town and very convenient for walking everywhere. It was a great value if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a fancy room. It was perfect for what we needed- a clean place to stay and enjoy walking around.

Parking was a challenge...more cars than spaces. Couldn't park in front of our cabin unless we hung around the cabin during the day. Some additional parking was available street-side but a bit hard to find and awkward to park. However, it wouldn't keep me from staying there again.

Great Location, within walking distance of restaurants and activities. The cabin was clean and bed comfortable.

The common area could have been a bit larger. We were not made aware of the "game area" and hot tub upon arrival and found out about it after a day or two. If someone had mentioned it upon arrival we would have planned to use it. It was kept locked up.

Nice cabin-like rooms. Very clean. A bit old. Comfortable but a bit small.
