No hot water nor water pressure in the shower. Not possible to shower. The slide lock was broken on the door. The pool was not functioning. I'd actually like a refund or a free room for next time.

The room smelled weird upon our arrival and the smell Lingered for our entire stay. And the bathtub was very dirty or had some very visible stains.

Customer service was amazing. We were immediately greeted and the person working was very kind and helpful when we experienced some technical issues.

We stayed here for a wrestling tournament. The breakfast options were not adequate, and I had to take my son to a drive thru to get something to fuel him for his matches. I choose to be gluten free and can usually find something but there wasn't even oatmeal available. Head's up, this hotel is right next to the train tracks and the trains run all night long.

My son appreciated being able to log in to our netflix account on the tv.

We were there for NIU softball games. The team was there. The hotel knew previously that 25 member of a team, plus alot of parents, plus the ppl that stayed there for whatever else reasons where there. You plan ahead to have ppl and adequate food prepared!!! Breakfast is 7-10. Got down at about 8:05 and there is nothing but a single waffle maker and some cereal. People are opening cabinets and moving stuff around to dwe if ther ris food somewhere.I go ask the front desk if someone is making more food. She points to a man leisurely chilling doing a crossword puzzle and says he is the breakfast attendant. I go over to him. He looks surprised to have someone bother him. I said good morning, is someone preparing more food. You have an entire softball team plus many others counting on a decent breakfast to get their day started. He said o what is needed eggs or something? I said no! There's nothing! And you have alot of ppl needing fed. Frustrating. Get it together people!

The lady checking us in was great. Very friendly and helpful. We did get the top floor like requested, away from elevators and ice machines. Bathroom needed some cleaning. We were there for softball games at NIU.

the "courtesy pc & printer" in lobby area was disarray, long time to "secure logon" but worse was after my spending 15min planning & printing next day directions on mapquest only to grab papers in laser printer tray and they were so light the pages were useless, low toner. Next was amount of shower towels in room, we stated 3 adults but I walked down and was promptly given 2 more towels, ok. Also lack of nearby rest menus in room or lobby, mostly attraction pamphlets, went to desk for advice, just little things, overall vg.

One of the number one reasons we booked your hotel was because of the pool. When we checked in, we found out it was not usable. That's false advertising. If your pool is out of commission that should be in big, bold print on your website. Be honest!

Hallways smelt like smoke, wi-fi dropped login every hour on all our phones, breakfast was lacking "hearty".

Location was good, although room and hotel was clean it was smelly in the hallways/ perfumy spray in the rooms and staff helpful and polite.

There is no hot water. Informed the front desk, were told to wait for 10 minutes for the hot water to reach the room. After 10 minutes still not hot water and the water pressure was very low. Cannot take shower for 3 days 😖.

The rooms look quite old and run down. Someone’s (hopefully) clean laundry was still hanging in our closet when we got there. The mirror hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while. The internet was pretty crappy and the TV required a call to the front desk for instruction.
