The room could have used a re-fresh for the price. . I hate these "resort fees". I wouldnt call this a resort.

This is a quiet no frills place with cute retro decor. Im shy and normally wont swim in public but the pool lights were dim at night, so I swam and felt comfortable doing so. Sign said pool closed at 10, but we swam til midnight (quietly)and were not kicked out. The A/C worked great in the 110 heat.

Expensive resort fees for a hotel with a pool but no resort facilities. Very poor 'breakfast'. Inexperienced staff and nobody in reception for most of our stay.

Lots of sad wear. pretty bare bones, spare older rooms. No instructions for TV or keurig. I had problems operating both. No staff around, so couldn't offer help. Sort of cute/kitschy but dormitory feel. Very unattractive breakfast, no real milk and bad coffee. $39 resort fee, to pay for what?

pleasant, quiet motel in downtown. Nice desk clerk, but suggested sister property restaurant that was most unhospitable. Excellent abundant hot water. Somewhat attractive small pool area.

The hotel is basically an old motel that has been glammed up. It is shabby and basic. There is a lot of wear and tear on the rooms and common areas. In Europe we would call this a hostel. All rooms are accessed via external walkways with some accesible direct from public sidewalk.

    Location is great.

The rooms were in my estimation, of average + quality. Heater and air conditioning worked and I have no complaints.

The breakfast was continental. Coffee, or tea, muffins and yoghurt. Sometimes hard boiled eggs. The muffins were very good. There was fruit sometime. Very nice snack. Location was excellent. Close to restaurants, shopping, and museum. The room was a good size but the bathroom was very, very small. There was a kitchen but was not used hardly at all. The value of this motel was in it's location. The updates in the rooms were average quality.

I didn’t like that the beds were hard and the pillows and linens were not soft. The room itself also was a bit disrepair with the laminate in the kitchen pealing and the bed the furniture did also look quite worn. although I appreciate that they offered breakfast it would’ve been nice to have a few more vegan options available for the no dairy or egg people.

i liked the retro aesthetic that the property has. it really feels like they maintained the original mid century charm with the architecture and decor in the rooms.

Our room was taken over unexpectedly by maintenence who popped in while we popped out for breakfast. We came back to shower, cool off and get ready to get the coachella shuttle. We found our hotel room open, parts of the bed frame from the room all over our terrace, the slats on our lounger and the room turned over and out of use while a maintenence man "changed our bed" like actually took apart the old and rebuilt a new one. We could not get ready we gave it 30 mins and then we were just overheated, running out of time and I had to go into our room try to get ready around him..I couldn't shower and then leave our room door open bed in bits and head to our shuttle. Zero warning or communication given. Lack of reception cover in the daytime which lead to area being locked with bikes and tea coffee facilites out of service to us. One day they had the out to lunch sign up till past 5pm and we wanted the bikes and could not use them. It was Coachella weekend and it felt like they checked out onsite assuming all were at the festival or sleeping it off all day. This was my 4th stay first in many years and I was disappointed it felt like a different vibe. We did get a repeat customer room upgrade which was super kind but the old vibe of the place and team just was missing. I wrote 4 times direct to hotel to share this to avoid posting publicly...most disappointing part they did not bother to respond. Its been over a week now. Looks like I have to find a new Palm Springs hotel :(

Comfy bed, great location, good air con.

Even though sister hotel is next door with dinner and bar, one expects a hotel of his stature to have better bar/drink services. Here, you have to call the hotel next door and await a bartender to deliver something. Hardly convenient. And the drink delivered was a joke--my husband ordered a "mudslide" and they brought something that appeared to be whiskey on the rocks with whipped cream and chocolate. Horrible.

We liked the "complimentary" happy hours and continental breakfast. I use the quotes b/c they charge a $39 resort fee to cover those items. We loved the architectural style and location--both top notch. The room was sizeable but the bed wasn't terribly comfortable, and made a lot of squeaking noise every time one of us moved. Also liked the kitchenette and ability to store food and drinks. The price is probably fair but not a deal by any stretch.

I had 2 rooms for 3 nights at $3600 and the youngest member of our party tested positive for covid. I immediately spoke to the front desk lady at 8.30am and told her the situation and said we were going to leave early due to the covid exposure. She was very kind and sympathetic even saying that her son had just tested positive also. At 10am I went back to the front desk talked to the same woman and she confirmed that she would check both rooms out early and email me any bills. I kept my social distance when talking and informed her that we had cleaned both rooms with clorox wipes to help protect the housekeepers. 2 hours into our drive home I realized I had not got the bill and called and asked for them to be emailed. The man answering the phone was at the sister property next door, he said he would make sure check out bills were emailed. After getting home, more covid tests and another one of our party now positive you understand it was the right safe thing to do. After several conversations with the hotel over the next few days I was td that they do not give refunds of any sort in any situation. They told me that also as I had booked through a 3rd party I could not get a bill fir the resort fees as they could not separate room rate and incidentals. I demanded a manager but was told one was not available and that maybe if I called their accounting department on Monday they could send me a copy of both bills. I have never heard something so bizarre from a hotel. I have travelled all over the world and never know a hotel that cannot give you a copy of the charges on your credit card. I spoke to booking.com who were very sympathetic but said they could not refund our last nights stay unless the hotel did not charge them. I left my number and email at hotel asking for someone to contact me to discuss more but no one ever did. This behaviour is encouraging people who test positive for covid to stay in there hotel. So I would not feel safe staying there again.

Provide WIFI password. Fix electrical sockets. Provide a shower cap. Provide more soap and of much better quality.

No one gave me a Wifi password. When I got there no one was there and they had to come from another hotel, but did quickly. Not all of the electric sockets work. A little skimpy on soap. Otherwise nice. Like the vintage building.
