Really nice cabin, super clean, great location. Don(manager) was great. We first booked just for 1 night, and decided to go back 3 days later, even though we already had another hotel booked. Definitelly one of the best places to stay in Alaska. If you are luck enough, you should also be able see the Northern Lights from you cabin's porch.

There was nothing we didn't like

My husband and i stayed here in late August and the Cabin was roomy,clean and the bed was comfortable.The cabin had everything to make our stay great Don the owner was very friendly and hospitable. The cabins are in walking distance from the Talkeetna railroad and about a 8 min walk into the centre of town.We liked that there was a resturant open from breakfast lunch & dinner right next door. We would definately stay here again.

What I didn't like was getting sick with a bad, bad cold/lung infection--I think I was infected on the plane. I spent two days in bed at the cabin before leaving. The weather was awful too and the rivers were flooding, causing Mayhey's jet boats and Dallas Seavey's Iditerod dog compound to shut down. But those didn't matter--I was too sick to go on a jet boat ride or see Seavey's anyway! It's been a month since my trip and I am still dealing with congestion from this lung infection. I certainly hope everyone else's trip to Alaska is much, much better than mine!

I can't thank Don enough for all his help during my stay. I don't know what I would have done without him and his staff. The cabin was fantastic!

Absolutely everything I could ask for. Beautiful,comfortable and clean. I will definitely stay here again. Loved the gas log heater.

We had to take our shoes off at the door, which I am guessing was to keep from damaging the floors (which were beautiful). Not a dealbreaker for us but it surely made the toes get a little cold.

The cabin was very clean and nice. Spacious enough for the two of us to have our luggage and not be stepping over one another. The owner was really nice to chat with. He gave some great information on things in the area. Wish we had had more time to sit and chat with him. Latitude 62 is next door and they have a great dinner and breakfast and you can walk there.

Good location. Easy Access. Free parking in front of the cabin. Good service from all the staff ( Thank you Pei ! ). Free wifi and fast. Clean and comfortable bed. Warm room, hot water. Refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Didn't realized that it was so far from Denali, but we had a car so that was okay.

Loved the beautiful, peaceful setting by the river, the grounds and flowers. Enjoyed the balcony. Nice to have a real coffeepot. Convenient to have a good restaurant and bakery on site.

Some might not like hearing Alaska Railroad freight train that runs about midnight but that was part of experience for me

The location was good, just a 10 minute walk into town although right next to the train tracks. The trains were noisy especially late at night. The sofa bed was okay but definitely not fit for a king. - I would recommend not using it and if you have a third person in your party, I'd recommend booking another room. It was a bit pricey for what it is but I would still certainly come back to stay again without thinking about it. 😃

Our host was brilliant, We had a very smooth Check-in experience, our host accommodated our requests and was very knowledgeable about the area and every suggestion he made was spot on and well worth it! The room was comfortable and nice with a decent sized bathroom and available kitchenware upon request. The room was small but still spacious enough to be comfortable. Games and DVD'S available from the Front desk.

For me the bed was a bit too soft. I prefer a firmer bed but I know everyone is different . The covers were light, I would prefer heavier covers. But over all it was great!

I thought it was very clean and inviting. I loved having the fireplace in the room and the option to watch DVD's was fun. The bedding was light but we found the extra blanket and used it. Everything was very thoughtful and nice and very private. Thank you for such a nice place.

Wi-Fi slow. Narrow check in window.

Cute cabin with two queen beds. Very clean and well maintained. Direct TV didn’t work at all and Wi-Fi is quite slow. Good location though right on a main highway so can be a bit noisy. Would stay again.
