Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

United StatesPoor lighting in walkway areas outside and some of the wood on walkway poses a concern because it’s rotting could cause someone to fall . I spoke to the owner and they are aware and acting on it !!
Great location it’s just a few blocks from where my granddaughter lives .

United StatesExpected more than a continental breakfast at a B&B. No glasses/cups in room. I needed an iron for an outfit for our night out. I was told it was not available. apparently, there was only one for everyone and it was in someone’s room. I had to go buy something to wear. so frustrating!!! Coffee maker in room, but no pitcher or cups. Said we’d have a robe also…no robe. Might just stay at a hotel next time.
Cute and quaint. Great location…you can walk to restaurants and stadium.

United Stateswhen we returned home at 12:30 PM on Friday evening, our keys did not work to our room. We tried reaching the owner many times, and we eventually had to sleep on the couch in the common area living room. At around 4 AM, the owner came over to find out what the problem was and it turned out that they had changed the locks to the room but had not put the new keys on the keychain they gave us. We did not stay the second night and we are in contact with the owner to get a refund for one night of the two night stay.
The location was great, it was quiet in the hospitality, breakfast was exceptional

NO COFFEE MAKER THIS SHOILD NOT BE CALLED A BED AND BREAKFAST! it’s a HOTEL WITH CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST —fix yourself a bagel. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Would NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. The hostess was seen by us ONE TIME at registration and then when we called her to ask about bottled water she acted like it was out of her way to get us TWO waters. BREAKFAST was a JOKE. YOU GET A BETTER BREAKFAST AT any BUDGET HOTEL. nice place but should NOT BE REGISTERED as a bed and breakfast AND there should be info on their BOOKING.COM warning guests of the NEGATIVES

GermanyThey charged a price that was different from the one that was displayed on the booking.com website. They justified it with some tax charges that booking.com would not include in the calculations. I did not receive a proper receipt but only a handwritten paper. Staff was really hard to reach—only calling and text was possible. Since I did not have a US Sim Card, I had no way of reaching out to the staff.
Nice place to stay with large and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast and large common rooms to hang out. Nice garden in the back and in the front of the house.

United StatesI was very unhappy with this family’s customer service, Richard in particular. I had a medical issue that required me to cancel half of my stay (which was communicated very well on my end). After being told that this was possible, my phone calls were ignored when trying to receive my refund. They even ignored booking.com’s attempt to reach out, twice. Instead of holding themselves accountable and helping me get my money back, I was gaslighted then ignored. Thankfully I was able to dispute the transaction with my bank but didn’t appreciate the trouble I had to go through.
Location is cool. My favorite part was the backyard deck experience. There’s a beautiful creek that runs in the backyard, very peaceful and serene.

United StatesHonestly, something that soured our experience was that the price we were guaranteed on Booking.com was not what we paid at the BNB. We paid almost $25 above what we booked it for and we didn't know we wouldn't get the price from our reservation until we arrived. I know $25 doesn't sound like much - but it is when you are budgeting for a trip like this for your anniversary. We probably wouldn't have stayed here for the price we paid. When we brought it up with the staff, they said it was booking.com's fault and have been in conversation with them about it. Still, I think that burden should not be put on the customer and that that kind of information should be disclosed. Now, I have to work with booking.com to get a refund. The booking.com email confirmation also said there wasn't internet access, so that was confusing as well. The place does have internet.
We enjoyed the bathrobes, bed, rainfall shower, and breakfast that was provided. We also ran out of toilet paper and Eva was quick to bring us some when we texted her.
