Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI do not have any concerns about the property other than it was about 20 minutes from downtown Key West. However, I enjoyed staying at Doubletree. They did have a shuttle to take you to the heart of Key West.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool and the pool surroundings were beautiful. The staff was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a tub and shower and toilet toilet separate from the sink. We had a balcony. Would definitely stay again. they had a shuttle to take you to downtown Key West every hour.

The hotel had a nice pool area which helped us relax after our long drive to Key West. Loved the fact that they had a shuttle to Key West, since the hotel is located away from the city. The room was spacious.

United StatesThe hotel is in need of some upgrades, and the carpet is very worn. The bathroom sink leaked all the time. The toilet had poor flushing. The bathtub is in need of replacement. The $30 a day resort fee is a scam. I understand some renovations are coming. I would make the resort fee optional , and I am sure it is to cover the shuttle service downtown, which we never used.
This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was great. Michelle at the front desk is friendly and pleasant. The pool was great, but the hottub wasn't working. 😕
