The room floor was dirty. although I was close to parking, I wasn't exactly happy at the corner with all the construction work going on. my initial reason for booking was to enjoy the amenities but I was miserable being bit up by mosquitos at the pool deck and bar.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly. Parking was close. Location was great.

Not enough pool area or hot tub area for two towers! One small pool and small hot tub always filled with children is not accommodating! Bed was rock hard very uncomfortable to the point of painful every morning! People smoking marihuana every night!

Booking.com said there was a kitchen and a dishwasher There was not Booking.com gave us $192 gift card because of their mistake Double tree manager gave us 4 free meals because he felt bad. So when we came we were disappointed We 1.5 hours to get into our room even though we came at 4:00 O’clock. They need more staff or harder working staff. We were in the top floor.

The shower set up. Both doors should slide. You shouldn't have to reach in from the opposite side of where the controls are to turn it on unless you want to get wet before you get in. Needs a better coffee maker and furniture updated. The lighting is too low, especially at the bathroom sink. The wifi is horrible. I couldn't work in my room because of it.

I was a little surprised that they charged $16 a day to park in the parking lot. That would be my only critique.

The beds were extremely comfortable, we had plenty of space in our rooms to spread out and waking up each day with an ocean view, and hearing the noise of the waves was delightful! The hotel is perfect for a relaxing beach stay with friends and family. Nothing fancy but great quality service and friendly staff and clean and spacious.

Can’t really think of anything we didn’t like. The extra parking fee seemed a little unfair with it being off season and it wasn’t busy.

We loved our two room suite. It was absolutely lovely! Our stay was very calming & peaceful. The room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable, nice quiet AC and spectacular ocean front view of the beach & ocean. The hotels restaurant was wonderful and extremely convenient.

There was ongoing refurbishment of the hotel that I was not aware of because there was no information provided by the hotel while I was booking my stay. The remaining operational part of the hotel where we were staying was what I would call "tired", meaning the room was worn-out and apparently that wing of the hotel is next for renovation. Nevertheless, it was compensated by the priceless view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Oceanfront is priceless.

Decor drab, paid extra for patio with sea view, but couldnt see the sea, patio door very, very stiff to open , had to pay for parking, room overpriced.

pool area was a bit scruffy due renovation work. didnt like being charged for car parking on top of hefty room cost. Breakfast was not the best due not hot enough.

$14 a day for parking...for what? Its a frigging parking lot..self parking...normal price is $8 with Valet. Restaurant is struggling and non competitive wth local fare as well as overpriced... Adult beverages overpriced... Housekeeping one time for 4 day stay...had to go to front desk for more coffee and towels... room service plates and trash sitting outside of rooms for days not picked up... The cookies that are given out at the desk need to be checked for bugs...placed cookies on counter in room and you could see these very small bugs crawling from the packaging..threw them away.

Beach is beautiful except for the sand flies that come up at night. Facilities are clean as expected for DT/Hilton.

One of the towers were under construction, but it was actually landscape work, building improvement, etc. I have no issue with that but there was no quiet time by the pool. I would have loved to know this and would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Especially when paying for beachside.
