Website said newly renovated which the lobby and our rooms were. What was not mentioned was that many rooms were still being renovated so hallways and pre-lobby areas still had some construction materials and hallway carpet had paint and signs of ongoing construction. To be replaced after completion which we were told would be in February 2023. Was not a problem for us but may bother some folks. My brother also commented heater in his room was too close too bed. Different setup in our room but heater was a bit loud but most motel units are in my experience.

Location was great for the purpose of our visit. Jennifer was very friendly and accommodating. She even drove one guest to her appointment when the guest's car wouldn't. start. Breakfast was the standard continental with waffles but Jennifer added biscuits and gravy for another warm option. Bed was comfortable with a new large screen smart tv. New tile and flooring and fixtures.

Bathroom was very small. Can tell the remodeling was done very quickly because there were a lot of seals not caulked, paint along base boards was not cleaned up, etc. They started working on rooms below me at 8am on a Saturday, which was bothersome.

Staff was very friendly. Fixed the issue I had with the bathroom light immediately. Room had lots of space. TV was bigger than most other hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast was the usual breakfast. Room was clean.

We were travelling from Canada and had to travel through a very severe winter storm area. We had to change our arrival date twice and still weren't sure if we would make our check-in date. Jenifer the owner/manager was very flexible with whatever date we would arrive on. No penalty or hassles. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and all of the food choices were very fresh and tasty. The eating area was exceptionally clean. Everything looked new. Nicely redecorated room. Will definitely stay again if travelling through Hastings.

If you’re from the area, you know they had A LOT of work put into this and are still in process, which is great. the room was beautiful, and a little minor fix needed to be done and the owners were quick and efficient to fix, which is all you should realistically wish for when a building is under a huge renovation.

This was a gem to find. Everything is like the pictures on the website. Comfortable beds. They are renovating so there are construction areas. I would stay here again. Great price. Very clean.

I would suggest putting a small handrail in the wall of the tub for better safety and maybe some type of strips on the floor of the tub (for more safety and the elderly).

Breakfast had typical varieties of food and easy access. I really liked parking in front of my door at the hotel and the accommodations were clean and nice!

I like that they are remodeling this hotel. The Bed was so comfortable. And the shower was awesome. Glad to see this being done. Room was beautiful. It will be a great addition to Hastings I hope to stay again soon.

The room had a very modern decor with no carpet that was just not me. The pump dispenser in the bathroom for soap, shampoo, and conditioner was difficult to use. The room was so tight with 2 beds that I used the desk chair to watch tv with. There was no room for a more comfortable cushioned chair.

The price was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable.

One complaint was that the water didn’t get hot enough in the shower (personal preference though).

Dragonfly has been beautifully renovated! The lobby is very cute as well as the rooms. Our room was very clean and cozy. The check in and check out process was very easy. There is complimentary breakfast with coffee, pancakes, waffles, cereal etc. Our stay was very quiet and it was hard to even tell we had neighbors.

The only thing I didn’t like was the pounding and various noises because it was loud and took away from relaxing but I know it’s from renovations so I understand. Also the fridge in my last room was extremely noisy.

I love the new renovations and style. The colors are beautiful and all the rooms are different so that’s fun. I have to say how comfortable the beds are and I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.

Everything!!! The manager is so kind all the time! We checked in late last night and she got us in the room quick and was very kind about everything! Even under renovation this hotel is amazing. It’s in walking distance of several restaurants and is very nice.

Well when they said free hot breakfast I was thinking like eggs, sausage, bacon or toast that was already made up for us, but it’s not a big deal tho

I didn’t eat the breakfast, would of been better if they had like eggs sausage bacon already made but I’m sure that’s in the process, the rooms were very clean and the beds were amazing, will definitely be back there at fair time next year

Everthing was perfect - just put a stopper in the bathtub.

We left before breakfast because we had to drive to Houston, TX and by leaving early (5:30am) we made it there at noon. Rooms were clean and beds were very comforterable. One small issue: The bathroom tub lacked a stopper so we had to use a wash clothe in order to take a bath. New decorations was very nice and we liked it very much. People were very friendly and helpful.
