The location was perfect, they have a private beach and nice pool, snack bar area. The accommodations are no frills but comfortable, clean and recently renovated.

While the beach location was great it meant it was a tad of a long walk to the boardwalk and rides, but since it was a nice walk on the beach we enjoyed it.

The location was great, on a part of the beach that was not very crowded, and they also have a pool. The room was nice, with a big updated bathroom. The snack bar is very handy. We would stay here again!

My room didn’t face the beach and I wasn’t clear on that! Some form of complementary coffee would be greatly appreciated, we don’t always carry cash for the snack bar, I had to drive to get it in the morning.

After Labor Day they do not enforce the no smoking on the grounds we felt like we were back in time never saw so many smokers. Thought nothing one smoked anymore these days but we kept our distance and spent most of the time on the beach.

I was charged for a Deluxe oceanfront room but only got a standard no view room. No private balcony. The manager blamed it on Booking.com. I did not get a refund for my over payment.

The location was perfect. A very nice 1 mile walk to the Boardwalk. The ocean and private beach was right in the backyard. Not crowded at all. The room was very clean and ready for an early check-in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would go back there again.

There weren't any towel racks or hooks to hang towels from showering or towels from the beach and wet bathing suits. The cable TV had major signal issues, couldn't watch tv. No deadbolt locks on the 2 doors in our 1st room. There wasn't anywhere to rinse off sand from the beach, there is a non working spicket/shower next to the inground pool. We extended our stay 2 more days because weather was rainy the 1st & 2nd day there. We moved & paid for an efficiency which did not have a frying pan, sheet pan for oven and no bottle opener. The two beds in the efficiency were hard as rocks. There is zero decor, no pictures on the wall & could use an extra mirror on the wall.

Location is great. The private beach is a plus, it was clean & convenient. The inground heated pool was very nice. The snack bar was great & very convenient for breakfast and lunch

NEEDS a water spigot to rinse sand - would help eliminate in rooms and pool. Otherwise would be a 10/10 for a classic Jersey shore experience… Walls are paper thin, but to be expected…it’s a Jersey shore experience not the Taj Mahal.

Convenient with kids! Old reviews had me nervous, but I noticed most of the negative comments were addressed by the owners and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very accessible, the private beach & snack bar make it super easy to pack lighter than normal (less equipment & food required) Rooms felt clean and renovated. The little retro-style fridge is super cute! We plan to come back and I can see us making many memories here with our family. Thank you for the great hospitality

Unfortunately, the parking lot is very small and it is difficult to maneuver especially since we have a large truck.

The Driftwood is our go to place in the summer-nice rooms-right on the beach-great pool-a food stand right by the pool-we love it!!! Staff is wonderful-we love BettyAnne.

Parking lot, extremely tight. Very difficult to enter and exit. A Microwave and a small table and chairs in room would have been good.

Great location, right on the beach. Beautiful pool, plenty of lounge chairs and snack shack! Quiet neighborhood. Clean, spacious room. Quick drive to boardwalk and restaurants.

Mosquitos had a war with me in the room one night. Also would recommend a top floor as the people above us were quite loud.

Beach is heavenly. Staff are always available and helpful. We will be back I’m sure!
