There was temporary leak that kept the room's floor entrance wet, very unpleasant. Shower pressure on the second floor was not good.

The staff wasn't really friendly or explanatory. We asked them to turn the heat up and it turned out that it just had broken down. But the staff didn't bother to even inform us that it doesn't work. Also, noone informed us about the check out process, I had to ask them too.

the room was fine, not the most pretty I've seen but it was value for money so I didn't expect much more. I was there only for sleeping after all.

I wouldn't say I dislike it but, the water pressure in the showers is very low, so it takes you longer to shower. When there are a lot of people in the hostel, the fridge can get full, again is not something to complain about but

The breakfast is always good, chocolate chips and blueberries pancakes with syrup, peanut butter and jelly to add on. Also the juice, coffee, and tea are there for you. The location is amazing, in 20 minutes you will be in the Capitol Mall, close to all the museums and they have a supermarket next door too!

Resident mice in the kitchen.

Pancakes look good for breakfast, but didn’t eat due to mice in the kitchen. Beds ok, but a little soft for me, would prefer a curtain around bed for a little privacy, but it wasn’t a problem. Staff are lovely, really helpful, polite. Showers ok. Kitchen well enough equipped. Good value for money. Really good location.

The common space was not big enough for all the guests in the evening.

The stuff was very kind and helpful (apart from the person waking me up in the middle of the night by taking away the covers and asking me to change bed even though I was in the correct bed!) Breakfast pancakes were a nice extra and the location was good, with nice mexican restaurants close by. The women's bathroom was clean and not crowded, which was highly appreciated.

There was no WiFi in my room the night I arrived which can be horrible for someone not from the U.S. because I hadn't bought a sim card yet to have personal data for internet. I asked the person at the counter and she said it'll be fixed, but it was the same for two days. They said they will get it fixed but by that time I had bought the sim card.

It's quite a traveler friendly place. I was there for a conference and so most of time outside, but it is right in the city center. You can walk to or get public transport to almost anywhere within walking distance. The place was clean. The breakfast was GOOOOD!

A couple of minor maintenance issues which were already communicated to the staff by other guests. That's about it.

Well..Pancakes and coffee for breakfast every day..can't complain there! Of course you can prepare your own food if you have any stored on the shelving provided. Kitchen looked nice as well. Nice big hostel covering many levels from the dorms in the basement to the reception/lounge area and showering/laundry facilities on the ground floor, the dorms on the level above and the kitchen, lounge (complete with computers for guests to use) and balcony on the top floor. Decent communal vibe in general. I got to chat to various guests from around the world. A good, sociable atmosphere is one of the marks of a good hostel, but I suppose that depends on who the guests are. The staff I spoke to were cheerful enough, they seem to have a good team vibe. About a 20 minute walk to the city centre or "Downtown". As for nearby, there is a fantastic Mexican restaurant next door, a supermarket offering plenty of choices next door to that and there is a bar a few doors down in the other direction offering..recreational smoking...if that's your thing. Don't worry, it's legal here!

Where I used the showers the walls were moldy. The breakfast is the same every day only from 8:30.

I was there for a conference therefore the location was perfect. The hosts are friendly and helpful. American breakfast is nice for 2-3 days.

Overall is a pretty good place to be on a budget. Comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff. They have many different areas to hang out which was really nice. Nice rooftop, cozy porch, comfy sofas. They have many restrooms available on every floor, that was great too. Comfy travel decoration. Breakfast has as many pancakes as you want, with syrup. They had coffee creamer and coffee. Make sure you ask about how to open the lockers tho, you need to know a little thing you have to click on and it may be hard to find if you arrive at night like me and people are sleeping and your don't want to turn on the lights in the room. The Wifi connection is super weak at the building 1217. I almost used my Mobile Data. My room is smelly a bit, but it’s fine.

There is only one restroom for all the men. There were some negative Details like the restroom could not be locked, there were no soap for all of the showers.

The common areas are limited, specially in the building in which I was staying. Breakfast started at 8.30am so I could not avail the free breakfast as I had to reach my workplace by 8am. The (4 seater room) was a little small. There was a single washroom on the ground floor for 8 people. It was okay for me as I was an early riser, but 1 washroom between 8 people is a little less.

The hostel is located at a central place that can be accessible by public transport like the Metro or buses. The facilities are good and the staff are quite nice and helpful. Room was comfortable. Kitchen was reasonable.

The same breakfast everyday. Doors are hard to open, so holding breakfast food while trying to open the door to the outside porch was a nightmare. some things were broken, specially shower knobs.

location is amazing. people and staff are very friendly and charming. The place had places to hangout, eat snacks, watch a movie and talk and work too. Met a lot of nice people. I also liked how strict they were regarding cleaning. Wifi worked really good too.
