Parking is problematic, not enough spaces for the high volume of vehicles

How much you enjoy your stay (as in many hotels) is up to the room you’re in. I was put into what felt like the most uncomfortable rooms on-site (strong smells of alcohol, heating system not working, hair on the pillows) repeatedly. Didn’t feel welcomed at all.

The unexpected upgrade for the final two nights, after a few stays before. Reception staff overall is doing a great job. Breakfast is ambitious. You don’t always get a variety of bagels, waffles, french toast and pancakes as a continental breakfast.

Various rooms have defects that I don't feel have been addressed This last room had back spray off the shower head. To where the wall was worn and decayed. Almost through the sheetrock.

Hair on the pillow and on the bathroom floor upon arrival, room next to reception, receptionist couldn’t find my booking (but was very friendly). Guests are a mixture of local folks, happy to have a roof over their head, workers and tourists. What really bothered me and cost me 64 $ extra: We needed to leave our heavy luggage after checkout for a few hours and asked at reception, if this is possible a day earlier. Answer: „Yes“. When we checked out the next day, we were told „No. Sorry for the wrong information“. As we were without a car on that day, waiting to be picked up in the evening, the only option was to book a room for another day, for luggage storage purposes only. My most expensive luggage storage ever. Not happy!

Breakfast is great, if you have a sweet tooth. Rooms good, many tv channels, Internet unreliable the further away you are from reception. Location is perfect. The elderly lady at the reception is a very friendly person, the younger lady not so much.

Sweep off outside stair railings after fresh Snow right away. Was snowy on my bare hands As this old fart negotiated the stairs.

Lack of fresh items in the continental breakfast. Theres no way to get the front desks attention for check in or out unless you loudly say hello. Both times the person was in the employee area on their phones and not paying attention to the front desk. Were friendly once they became aware. Not a lot of parking close to the main doors which is sketchy at night. The ceiling in my bathroom looked to have been dusted for fingerprints. Elevator smelled of thick cigarette smoke.

Love how close the hotel was to the MAC. Easy to find. Decently priced. Lobby is small but clean and inviting. Room was fairly clean, bed comfy. It was hot for me in the room but there is a fan and the window opens.

the tub was slanted and it made it hard to keep your balance I’m old. also the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and a little mildew on ceiling by the fan also fan in bathroom was dirty.

A lot of traffic noise - I was on the top floor and the glazing on the windows wasn't great. Parking was tight - it doesn't seem like much parking for the size of the hotel. The security lock on my door didn't work which made me feel slightly uncomfortable travelling as a single female. No tea/coffee facilities in room.

Comfortable bed, fairly spacious room and large bathroom. Price was excellent considering the prices in Anchorage and Palmer. Staff polite and check in process was very easy and quick.

It is the only hotel. N/A. In AK you can either rent a trophy home, a stodgy downtown upscale place, or stay in a meth head marijuana hell hole. This question is not applicable

Giant spider fell on me from the shower curtain. The toilet seat in my bathroom could not stay up. I had to awkwardly hold it up to go pee. The fan light bulb instantly burned out when I turned it on.

Very cheaply priced. It seemed clean and I liked having a fan in the bedroom area.
