The construction going on around but I knew it was due to remodeling!

Great location. Close to town to grab drinks, food, etc. Didn’t grab the breakfast there but I’m sure it was great! We stayed in a king room and it was very clean, cozy, and super cute!

I can't say there was anything we didn't like. We just stopped here overnight on our way to our final destination in Nashville so it was a very quick stop. I would certainly visit again if in the area.

Easy to get to - the front desk staff even contacted us on Friday evening as we hadn't arrived yet and wanted to make sure we were still coming prior to opening the rooms back up. Nice breakfast.

My main gripe was the lack of a plug in the bathroom sink, which makes having a wet shave tricky - so I didn't bother to have one. The hotel block's communal areas are a little tired but I did note work was being carried out replacing the stairs carpet.

The welcome at reception and instructions on how to get to my room (the accommodation is spread out over quite a large area) after a long tiring day. Plenty of free parking. Given a token for a free 'standard brand' beer at the onsite Tap bar too. The room (3206), reached by a lift, was large and overlooked a field so was quiet (there is a small airport near by, so heard a couple of planes but not an issue due to limited arrivals/departures). The usual facilities such as a good sized fridge, very big TV with a wide selection of channels, microwave etc. Bed was comfy and large. There is a small bath with a shower (takes a little time to warm up) and an array of toiletries. Complimentary breakfast is available and is fine to 'fill a hole'.

The sausage at breakfast was hard as leather and the music in the bar at night was VERY loud. No bath mat. The sidewalks in many areas were broken. It just wasn’t up to our expectations

We went to the bar after eating dinner at another restaurant and there was 3-5 young women in the bar extremely loud so much so we could not stay in the bar. When we went we observed other people walking into the bar and leaving for the same reason - obnoxious bar people. It was too bad because we were looking forward to a nightcap.

Room was as described. Check-in, although we had to wait because of other customers, staff person was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast offers were as expected.

The hallway to the room smelled musty with some type of freshener to overcompensate. The carpet in the room was really worn - needed a remodeling.

We were surprised when we arrived that we received complimentary drinks from the bar!

I have no complaints! I will definitely stay here again if I come to Bloomington.

The room was very clean, and it looked great! It was quiet, even with children in other rooms, I didn't hear a thing. The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was also very good, with plentiful food and choices! The coffee was delicious!

The room was big, clean, and modern. I was only there for one night and wished I had a longer stay. The staff was friendly, the grounds were clean and well-maintained. I look forward to staying there again in the future. Lots of different food choices nearby.

The only thing I would say we didn't like was the toilet had issues flushing. When we asked for a plunger the housekeeper/ maintenance person told us don't even worry about it. We'll take care of it. (We were checking out)Great

It was nice having a little apartment, instead of just a room. The fireplace made it very cozy. The bed was comfortable.

Thought from the pictures on the website that it was more updated than it it. Room was mush smaller than it looked online, but was adequate for one night.

Breakfast was very good! Room was clean. Did get a fee drink for staying and must say that the bartender who took care of us was great and very friendly!

Mattress was slightly hard for me. The same breakfast options on both days would have been nice. Saturday morning there was eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, bread, jelly, bagels, muffins, butter, yogurt, apples, oranges, cereal, milk, coffee and juice. Sunday morning they left out the biscuits, gravy, butter, and jelly but put some honey out that was disgusting.

The hotel was great! A little ceiling touchup could've been done on the downstairs bathroom but that's nitpicking. The facility was beautifully landscaped and inside was super clean! We got our complimentary drinks and bought myself a mixed drink that was perfect! The free hot breakfast was good, the gravy not so much but overall I liked it and there was plenty of options! Definitely recommend staying here!

Dated rooms and outdoor stairs rickety with wooden hand rails … ouch. Breakfast was ok but the free drinks for guest were very low quality wine.
