The size of the rooms. Our friends room was a double bed not queen. No breakfast. The staff hanging outside our room. The staff were polite but didn’t speak English.

Good location close to wharf and within walking and/or biking to downtown. Clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy bike rental. Happy with and would recommend Eden House for a stay.

As I suspect in many Florida places moisture is an issue. All my clothing smells like a damp basement despite running the AC and fans to keep the humidity down.

The tiki bar could have been open later. Also the shower is fixed and doesn't have an attachment.

The single King room was tiny and had no TV. The shower was right in the room, so no privacy there. Not the worst accommodations and was all that was available over the holiday weekend, so we understood and made the best of it…the bed was clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay, overall and our older children enjoyed having their own spacious room. The pool area, tiki bar and tropical atmosphere were lovely! The property was unique and the location was convenient to various points of interest. Staff was kind and courteous and very helpful after a night of illness.

The room had a terrible view of old paint cans and ladders! Quite small and no hooks to hang anything on they were all broken. Although I did love the pillows.

Small beds, even in an upgraded large room.

The Staff could not have been more helpful. I was a little worried about staying here given some of the bad reviews (and I am a horrible snob when it comes to hotels), but all my fears were gone once we checked in. We had a booked a small room as we figured we'd be put loads and I did think the other rooms were over priced. However, when we arrived we asked if there were any other bigger rooms available and the lovely young guy on reception (I wish I'd got his name because he was so so helpful) showed us the other larger rooms and gave us an upgrade at a small cost. OK so the rooms are dated, no getting around that and the beds are small. But they were clean and had everything we needed. The location is superb and the pool area and reception area was brilliant. And special thanks to the Maintenance guy who stood in a parking spot for us that came free sp my husband could go and get the car! Feeling that welcome is what it's all about and we'd stay again for sure.

Our room was a bit cramped, especially with an armoire sitting too close to the bed. i could not walk around the bed comfortably. WiFi was very spotty. kept getting kicked off the internet.

Lovely hotel in a great location for duval street and all the historic old town sights. As with most properties in Key West, the hotel is lost in time but this is part of the charm. Yes, the decor is a little dated but everything is always spotlessly clean and let's be honest, if you're going to Key West to stay on the man made side of the island in a chain hotel which could be anywhere, why bother going all the way to Key West in the first place? The thing that makes this hotel is the staff (special mention to Everett) - always incredibly friendly, super helpful, and absoluteky the reason we'd come again.
