It needed a deep cleaning.

The location was great. We just parked the car and could enjoy the boardwalk and the beach. The pool was great too, and we loved the outdoor area.

We were given trouble by the owner from the moment we arrived. We booked through a third party, which said there was no age restriction for check-in. None of our party was over the age of 25, so when we checked in, the manager said he would have to call his boss, the owner. The owner immediately started yelling at him over the phone to the point where he had to politely ask her to lower her voice. She said she wanted copies of all of our IDs, fine, but then demanded we provide a car registration for each of our two vehicles. The manager told her that wasn’t right and he won’t do that, but she continued to yell at him. Shortly after this occurrence, she showed up on the property to take pictures of our cars and license plates. Throughout our stay, staff members told us stories of guests getting charged $500 for the smallest things and being accused of breaking and stealing things. Although we are young, we are very respectful and made sure we took very good care of our space. As it turns out, we were much less of a problem than other guests, even. But the owner continued to give the manager a hard time about our party and our ages. The manager and all of the cleaning staff were amazing people, and we enjoyed chatting with them throughout our stay. We were just saddened to see how they were getting treated.

Edgewater had some of the most amazing hospitality staff I have ever encountered as a frequent traveler.

The rooms had spider webs in the skylights. The cushioned chair with fabric was stained of some sort of liquid. It looked gross amd noone wanted to sit on it. There was no AC. And the fan didnt cool the room enough. The bedding was out dated. The decor could use a facelift.

Thin walls were thin and could hear next door and room was cold, could not figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace.

The furnishings have a distinct 1970s vibe, and the blinds did little to prevent the light from the exterior fixtures from illuminating the room.

The location is outstanding, and the staff person was excellent. I needed a place for the night due a strong storm system.

I don’t like how the jetted tub is mentioned in the description and photos of it but yet the Jets don’t work I was told it was a $20,000 fix that they can’t do right now and so that’s why the room is cheaper it wasn’t made known to us that they weren’t working.

I love the location in for you. The room is always cozy.

The room was good, it just smelled like cigarettes every time u walk in the door. And maybe could use a little upgrade on linens. There's floors thru out so it was cold.

That it was near beach, and boardwalk, walkable distances to attractions and food. Quiet at night. The fireplace, but is very noisy. Liked that TV had roku.

In our room the sheets had some stains on them, there were cobwebs in the corners, and the room didn’t feel very private. The patio door only had curtains and there were windows directly across from it so there was no privacy there and behind the headboard there was only some blinds that mostly closed. We felt a little uncomfortable especially when the room price is normally $350 a night.

We loved to location, it was so close to the boardwalk and wharf.
