Ouachita lake had just been brought up to regular levels from the low, wintertime, levels. I don't think the fish knew I was offering free worms but with a catch🤣

Great location. Modernized cabin. Heat/AC. Induction cook top was interesting. Nice waterfront. 3 different docks. Owners like to keep things working good and safe. Weber grill for charcoal. Portable firepit for S'mores. Good dogs allowed. Nice people stayed in other cabins. Near to foodstuffs and lots of parks. First week in March very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at cabin 1. It’s so close to everything we wanted to do. We kayaked and hung out with a couple of friendly geese. The beds are so comfortable! My teen slept on the futon couch and said it slept just fine too. We would love to stay again in warmer weather to swim!

Just think of a cabin up north -- wherever up north is for you. It's kind of basic and rustic. If you don't have ultra high expectations, you'll be fine. It was comfortable for us and very affordable as a last minute substitution, so we had a fine week here, and you should, too!

It is truly right on Lake Hamilton, which was very enjoyable to sit on the deck and watch the world float by. It was perfect for us as a couple. Be aware that two of the beds are in the same room, so if you're traveling with kids, you may not want them right there with you in the same room! 😉 There is a sort of sofa/futon in the living room that can certainly function as a bed. The rooms are good sized and the kitchen is functional, just note there is only a stove top and microwave for cooking, no oven. The owners were VERY responsive. We had an issue with the heat on a Sunday, and the owners were there to take care of it pronto! Very responsive!

It was hard to heat up the entire cabin and the couch wasn’t very comfortable.

I liked the closeness to Hot Springs, the view of the water, and the cleanliness of the cabin.

If I had to pick something, I would say the couch could have been more comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, I can't really say there was anything we did not like.

The location was great and it was really cool being right next to the water. We definitely want to come back when it's warmer so we can enjoy the water and the little beach area and the available kayaks. My son and I loved that!

I honestly had no dislikes about Edgewater!

The cabin was adorable. It was very clean and well kept. The lake was beautiful and even tho it was a little to cool to swim the weekend we went, each cabin has an amazing swim area. There are also wonderful outdoor areas for grilling and just setting around the campfire!

very nice lake view with a private beachfront area. Grills where clean and house was suitable for small family’s. they are pet friendly as well. location is just 10 minutes from everything. Cant beat the view!!!

There is no oven. The only thing was that the owner had to come install a deadbolt lock on the door because it didn’t lock from the inside and our toddler just opened the door to walk out to the boat dock. The manager and owner were very nice about it. Hopefully all doors have locks on the inside now.

Fix shower hot water supply, have better heating in cottage

No breakfast. Shower water when showing turn on hot ,cold, only warn water at 5o clock. Heat, not enough to warn facilities.
